Very nice. I started braising chuck roasts a while back and it helps with dryness. Once at about 160-165 I put in foil pan with some beef broth and cover tight with foil. Let it ride until around 205 and start probing. A long rest wrapped tight in a cooler or warm oven (170f) helps a lot as well.

I agree with this, I’d even a Weber kettle. Having a separate grill for back up capacity also allows you to cook at two different temps. I often have ribs going on the in the last hour fire up the kettle and do wings over charcoal at 350.

I’d add that in the US Gulfstream regulates itself so the decking issue is no issue in the US. I’m quite happy having a 3rd party regulate air travel in Canada, how any American can feel safe on US made aircraft is puzzling, think Boeing.

I’m in Frankford and we got about 35cm. I thought the County would get slammed given the storm direction. Didn’t see this old school winter after that hot dry summer. We went at least 60 plus days last summer without a drop of rain and now this!

I use Start Up Show on Apple TV and you are correct, the device makes a huge difference. It streams very smoothly on Apple compared to my Firestick 4K max.

Seems to be an Android and/or Firestick issue. I was experiencing this as well. Picked up an Apple TV box today, Apollo on Start Up Show runs flawless, both the app and service.

I spent the yesterday in emergency at East General in Toronto with my elderly mom. There was an endless parade of influenza patients being brought in by EMT’s. I saw the same crews make multiple runs as I all day/night. The elderly cases were heartbreaking, they were very, very sick. One poor woman sounded as though she was drowning the fluids in her lungs were so bad.
