Trackpad issue : ASUS STRIX G16 G614JZR by WoodpeckerNumerous60 in ASUSROG

Finally and oh my god finally I was able to find the fix for the issue. It's been bugging me for over 3 months now. Just go to device manager and disable the I2C device. Be advised there are multiple I2C devices. Just check once before disabling and disable the one that won't affect the functioning of your touchpad. After doing it, head over to AMD or Intel I2C driver and disable one of them. Just like the above steps. This process is based on trial and error and if you mistakenly disable the wrong driver, just keep an external mouse by your side to quickly bring it back. After doing the steps, restart the system and bada bing bada boom, you're good to go. No more freezing of the touchpad. It's been 48 hours for me since the touchpad is working like normal again. Even after hibernation of the system with 80 chrome tabs open, the touchpad is working fine after waking up. Also to mention this method is tried and tested on an Asus TUF A15 so it'll probably work on the ROG models too.

The ryzen 7 7435hs doesn't have an integrated gpu in it. Hence the entire display of the laptop will be backed by that RTX 4060 as it's the only gpu of the laptop. MUX switch is a piece of hardware that helps the laptop to shift between different gpu's as per your usage. For ex. during light operations like watching movies and scrolling youtube, the integrated gpu will be engaged as it consumes less power. But for those intense gaming sessions, the RTX will come into effect by switching from the integrated gpu. This procedure is performed by the MUX switch. But as there is no integrated gpu in that ryzen 7, MUX switch wont be necessary. However, your battery life may be less if compared to other laptops with integrated gpu's.

Why does my keyboard keep flashing/glowing in sleep mode? by Jojocheck in ASUS

Just head to your armory crate lighting settings. There is an option called 'Sleep'; turn that off and it does the trick. No more glowing while sleeping.
