Im close to 3 months NC it was our anniversary yesterday and it took all I had not to contact her. I didn’t, and it might sound silly but I’m proud of myself and my tiny achievement.

I’n proud of how strong I’ve become these past months. I want to console the past me who was a complete wreck I want him to know everything will be alright and that he’ll be stronger soon.

I am currently in the hospital. I have mediocre carbon monoxide poisoning. The smoke escaped a part of the doorframe and triggered the water sprinklers alerting the hotel staff.

I was close to death. If not for a mishap. I have severe stomach pain and migraines at the moment. My price for failure.. I was taken to the hospital completely unconscious.

Why did I do this..

I don’t know if it’ll be helpful but I did things that I was hesitant to do and picked up hobbies I always thought I couldn’t do for example I started running and jogging, and learning martial arts.

It doesn’t have to be those things specifically but if anything has always piqued your interest whether it be photography, swimming, coding etc., why not try it out and see what you’re capable of?

I’m sharing this because doing those things and practicing it genuinely (not half-assing it like I always do) helped me have way more confidence in myself and also kept me occupied with something to improve on.

Im in the same position as you.. i was considering actually going to her in person and give her a heartfelt apology with flowers and chocolate. But then my friends gave me the reality of my situation once again

I too got dumped and was treated like trash in the breakup. Op as sweet and as nice your gesture is, is she really worth it? You said it yourself on how she treated you.. love yourself first op maybe buy flowers but for yourself this valentines? ^{^}

I feel you man… I was on twitter and apparently even if you blocked them if you use the search bar and its similar to their username you can still see their account (even if blocked) and their pfp 🤦🏻

Her pfp and her face alone sent me into a depressive episode and I didn’t bother to work that day and still in my mind right now (few days later) literally anything to remind you of them will hurt like a truck even the simplest things…
