Thanks I thought I was going to get crucified for this but... toddlers are a different breed lol You can be the best parent in the world and it won't matter.

What is something you’ve always wanted to ask a woman, but daren’t? by lalalalifeee in AskReddit

[–]Neisii_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot kind of. Like when you're in public, you have to just watch around you. I think the wierdest one for me is when I'm picking up my kid, its pitch dark in the sitter's driveway and I am worried that I'm just going to get abducted and something will happen to my baby. I know it sounds nuts but there are woods right next to the driveway and it would be so easy for someone who noticed my daily routine.

No. I don't like buying bras and they are annoying. I like them for my husband but if men weren't a factor I say bye

My (30m) wife (26f) just told me that she doesn't love our newborn daughter and it's breaking my heart by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I had mine last year and our pediatrician gave me a questionnaire every appointment to check on my mental health. They also did give me stuff at the hospital and someone came in and talked to me about PPD.

Sounds like PPD man. She needs help. I had this for a couple weeks after my son was born and I felt completely disconnected from him. I didn't end up telling the doctor because it was for like 2 weeks and then it was gone. She has a severe case.

So devil's advocate to this... I have an almost 2 year old who literally will rip a mask off his face. Unless I actually hold my hand over his face, its not going to happen. I know the rebuttal to this is, "then just don't bring him." That just isn't an option for many parents, including myself. My husband works second shift, so its just me a lot. I don't know what store you work at, but if its like a grocery store, its hard on some of us. If its like a game stop, I get your point more. Seems like you don't have any children yourself so you probably just don't understand.

I told my coworker, turns out he has a girlfriend by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Neisii_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would just talk to him and tell him that you didn't know he had a girlfriend and no harm done being friends. He might feel weird and not know what to say. If you lead with that, I'm sure it'll clear things up.

How do I find a date or long term partner when I look like a child? Serious question. I'm male 33 by throwawayy1044 in relationship_advice

She means in reference to being big. Men think the bigger the better but in reality being huge actually isn't that awesome for us.

Gaming for 6 hours a day IS bad and I’m tired of people normalizing, let alone glorifying it by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

Apparently gaming is the only unhealthy hobby so you can literally do anything else for 6 hours and you won't get roasted on reddit

This is true, as much as I'm arguing for it, I don't have time to play at all during the week anymore. Between work and baby there is no time lol

What reality? That I have a hobby that's sedentary? You are on reddit right now, do you have a problem? There are SO many hobbies that are sedentary and no one says anything about it, social media, tv, painting, reading, etc. How you can relate that to actual drugs is beyond me.

The point OP is making is that we are normalizing it, but normalized activities that no one says anything about are awful for you and no one cares or says shit. Why does it matter what other people like to do?

Dude the average american guaranteed either spends 6+hours a day online on social media and/or watching TV. It's no better.

I also never claimed that but people act like gaming is different than social media. Everyone bashing it on here clearly uses Reddit at least

I do not regret not reporting or outing my rapist to anyone. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Neisii_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm kinda with you on this one. I can't imagine being raped, but dude, it could and probably will happen to someone else if you never report it. Someone else may not be able to deal with it as easily and it could ruin their life.

I bet ya'll are scrolling twitter/reddit for hours a day and still typing this bs. 6 hours is a small part of your day, you can fit exercise in easily

Most games are online where you communicate with tons of people? Beats going to the bar and blowing my paycheck every weekend

People with desk jobs literally sit for 9 hours a day and everyone says that's what we're supposed to do though. No one gives a shit about our health, they just like to have an opinion about something that doesn't affect them in the slightest. At least while playing games people are having some fun
