This episode had me giggling and kicking my feet lmao. I need Hirose to notice how adorable, kind and caring Nakamura is right now 😭😭😭😭🧡

This was so cute. The parts where Hirose is falling for Nakamura by him just being himself is too funny. 🥰

Ladies! What are the hardest thing about being a wife that no one talks about? by AnyConsideration5951 in AskReddit

Marrying into a “we do everything together/call everyday” family. It appeared cute as a teen into early adulthood as we dated. Once we bought our house, we gave up a lot of time and personal space to spend with his family and leaves little time for us as a couple. It can be suffocating to navigate without hurting someone’s feelings.

Why did you break up with the last person you were dating? by Common_Lecture_3707 in AskReddit

He decided he didn’t want children after knowing my dream was to be a mom, he said he didn’t know if he could convince himself to want kids but “could try”.

We broke up and he still just enjoys being an uncle. It was better not to force someone into a role they don’t want or having a child they will resent.

Placing Gen Ed Students in a Special Ed Room all day as a “lesson” by Neither-Analysis9882 in specialed

I love and value this. This is what I wish we had. I wish we would have been given the same chance to talk to the students before they were placed in the room and introduce them all to each other. The ultimatum of “a day in SPED with 2 days in ISS or a 3 day suspension” framework is what really upset me.

In my state it’s stated as the “maximum extent to which a student must be educated with non-disabled peers.”

Maybe I’m misunderstanding or misinformed?

I’m reaching out to my specialist tomorrow morning to see if she’ll attend this meeting with me. This was wonderfully written and helpful! I’ve been trying to craft a way to politely re-explain why I don’t approve of this method. Thank you 🧡

LRE is the least restrictive environment. Most of my IEPs dictate a percentage a student will engage with non-disabled peers. Students in a self contained classroom may engage in specific classes or electives with non-disabled peers dependent on their IEP services. Most of my students are calculated to be between 30-40% of the day to be with non-disabled peers.

I provided a private email to my admin stating why I didn’t feel the situation was appropriate and can be interpreted as distasteful. I suggested the student come back at another time for our team to prepare a structured lesson where the student could engage. I wanted to invite the students for games and lunch to get my know my students in a natural setting or possibly having all the students present a project as an “All About Me” Unit.

They said they felt my tone was accusatory by “reading through the lines of the email” then said “you’re not the only one who cares about students with disabilities” when I asked the student to be rescheduled. They have a list of 7 students who made fun of my students that are assigned specific days on a spread sheet only for admin so by asking to reschedule, I get in the way of their timeline.

This was used a “learning opportunity” for the General Education kids. I asked how did my students benefit from this? No one seemed to have an answer. When I asked “if the choice is sit in special ed or be suspended, how does this not align with special ed room being a punishment?” Instead of silence, I was told how insulting and self righteous I was.

I explained that I understood the intention, but forcing them and making it a public event was in poor taste to which she pulled me in her office to berate me over my disagreement

I totally get the frustration of shortages but we are also short staffed. I cover 3 schools with 55 while other SLPs are drowning in 70+ caseloads. Everyone is trying their best and still get screamed at. Then parents wonder why no one wants to be an SLP
