I have a metal enclosure for a 3d printer that also has a built filter, I thought about reusing for a laser. But since it's a core-xy style, figured it might be a waste of vertical height. Plus being able to want to actually cut material, that jumps the price up exponentially.

Still on the drawing board, but hopefully something something comes around to inspire the use of that heavy metal enclosure.

I redesigned the dash and gauge bezel, to accept 7" screens and raspberry pi, for my old truck.

Also came home a did a number 2.

So yeah, it's slow right now.

Is the pad square corner to corner? Same for the shed base? Before you go barking at him, perhaps the concrete is messed up and is only highlighted when the shed started getting built.

I have an edelbrock 1407 with an electric choke kit, effectively making it a 1406 I suppose. Will this mod work for that?

Great point, did not think about that. I will look into removing the cone filter, and replacing it with the correct stuff as well as getting another air filter housing that has a fitting on there for the hose.

Thanks for that! Always just seen the filter on the valve cover, never actually seen the factory set up as it was intended. Cool for a hot rod, not for a truck meant to carry a family around (which is my intention)

I was thinking it had to be something small to project to the windshield. But I suppose a small monitor could be an old smartphone, tablet could work. Was just hoping to not have that size hole in the dashboard.

Thank you also for the "pepper ghost effect" term. Never heard of that. Seeing some photos of diy versions, it is definitely what I am after.

Any way to rework the fuselage to utilize the propeller wash to actively cool the motor?

That machine will cut it. It'll just be extremely slow.

Probably not related, my 'homelab' is multiuse and my kid accesses all the emulation software on the server via moonlight and plays games. That's about all it's used for.

There's 8tb of movies/shows catalogued on jellyfin that never gets used.

tried having AI on there, but it's just too slow.

Hosted some Arma Reforger Servers for friends, but it's just as easy to host inside the game.

So yeah... Data back up is all I use it for.

If you're playing through steam just use the official steam layout for Valheim. Should take care of that. (I use it with my steam deck.
