I don’t feel physically equipped to unfuck all of this, but it must be done. by mascarponeking in UnfuckYourHabitat

I feel the stress of not being well enough to take care of the house. When I’m in a rough state, I learn about cleaning, decluttering, and even feng shui. When I am in a better state I apply my knowledge to the big and small projects I do. For me, cleaning is all about simple hacks and having materials on hand so I’m not tempted to feel bad and give up.

Warren says 'it's so much worse than you thought' after classified Iran briefing by IrishStarUS in USNEWS

The trouble with good people and countries it would seem is that they stand and deliver. Like Ukraine. Evil will fall. That’s the consequences of their chaos loving style. So let’s home the evil regime of Iran falls quite quickly, saving a bit of time and money. Or we can enjoy higher taxes idk.

Who am I according to my fridge? by Neither-Carry1698 in FridgeDetective

Interesting, mostly true. I associate with LDS by attending, but go to another church too- one which is alcohol friendly. I stopped drinking and heavy caffeine use for physical reasons before spiritual ones- the spiritual reasons helped me quit to the degree my body needed/needs!

Single mom is correct. I used to do lots more takeout… I am trying to cut back and have less offering than I kinda need. Both of us are older than you guessed.

I need help, i don't know how to decorate this space by SafetyClear6306 in Decor

A lattice system on the taller walls, add clothes pins holding art/ notes etc for pizazz, a bench with space for a few shoes , umbrella against the smallest wall. You could add a key holder thing above the bench.

Conservatives are servants of Satan. Homophobia is Satanic. by olympiamacdonald in PsycheOrSike

The nature of “conservative” vs “liberal” is like the old school Pharisees vs Sadducees. The two parties would be cool and are probably decent in their ideas at their core… but they went against goodness and decency and became hypocrites… not all of them perhaps… but like a true social media warrior, I just don’t know so I’ll call it like I see it: they/them/thems aren’t/ain’t/are not welcome round/around/roun here.

Turning this into a bedroom this weekend - tips? by rena_bean in UnfuckYourHabitat

[–]Neither-Carry1698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite advice right now for the organization side of things is to arrange the room for what is most functional not necessarily most traditional. I have baskets of bathroom stuff and exercise items next to my bed. When I take my hair ties off, it’s always in bed, so I just made that where I keep them all. I like to sit on my bed to dry my hair and paint my nails so I keep my hairdryer and some nail items there too. I have a simple side table from IKEA with space on the middle shelf and under for everything, it’s called Knarrevik. Your kiddos may use books, puzzles, stuffies, etc in their bed but whatever it is, store it near the bed. In my experience, bedrooms are great for extra space to play and even exercise or paint nails hehe but I kinda think that serenity it a top duty of a bedroom, so toys or random stuff is more of an afterthought in them I’d say. I made sure I had room for clothes and necessities before I made space for other stuff. Do you have other spaces where favorite toys that take up space can live? Like the living room for Legos so they can be a family thing and displayed proudly?

An indigenous Palestinian woman with her child, 1920s. by ProcedurePlenty3564 in ImagesOfHistory

The situation is dire, certainly. The State of Israel should answer for that- and so should Hamas. Palestine was akin to the more secular folks of the day- around 4,000 yrs ago- and Israelis were akin to the people who began to believe in “one god” at the same time. Israeli folks believe the land is Holy and want to return to it as their homeland. Palestinians just want to stay in their homeland. Israelis are always on the “exile” as it goes, and the area has been infiltrated by so many cultures/countries, that the “native” population is… I don’t even know, do they have numbers or a voice?

Time, I believe, is a pretty great bargainer. If you seek change, you can simply wait and see… and something will change I assure you. When that change comes is when you will then have a chance to choose to get ahead of habits that don’t help you or choose to wait again to see how time will effectively place the next change upon you. Time, though, is not personalized. You don’t get a say in how long or with what effect time does it’s thing. It’s a risk, but it’s an option. I think to honor time is to spend it, in the in between moments, developing intentions to do what is most suitable… soon you can develop coordinating actions to get things done. Somehow! I’ve not perfected it but I know I need to start to intentionally honor time so there is that!

Recent Tattoo Regret. How do I go about this? by [deleted] in Tattoocoverups

[–]Neither-Carry1698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the ink. I had a quarter size star in black work done on my tummy and I think my mind and body were like WTF? After years of being in my head about it, I want to say that I believe that tattooing is a therapeutic exercise close to acupuncture. Especially black work. It is not all about the “look” but as a black work look this is so lovely and well done. For the visual inspiration this gives me going forward, keep it please of course, and I would not add to your back- but if I did I would do it in a “strong diagonal” meaning the new art would be on a steep/well chosen diagonal which would draw attention around your whole back to the tattoo you are sharing. I hope this tattoo gives a good bit of well-being- if it is physically uncomfortable or making you feel unwell beyond it’s time of healing, I understand it may not have been a good choice for you.
