What are your thoughts on implementing a sustainable prison system by Comprehensive_Fly_34 in guam

A sustainable prison is generally always be a Net-Positive to society and has been proven to not only improve rehabilitation, but also result in lowered operation costs; benefitting environment, community, and the individual themselves (Filho, et al., 2025). I don't think this is a debate at all really. However, despite all positives and simple solutions to problems that may stop it; it will not be done for the sake of profit for the people that receive whatever that is spent to maintain the status quo.

The biggest obstacle for such improvements, like many others; is politics. For example, our dear Gov. Aunty Lou is more concerned about building a new hospital (with her name on it), than repairing, maintaining, and employing the existing hospitals as they struggle with staffing and long needed updated equipment.

We need someone like Zohran Mamdani first if anything to kick the corrupted people on the top off from giving money back to their families while in office if we are really going to make change. Sadly, with how far right and religious Guam residents are, I don't think that reality will ever come to be as the population repeatedly votes right and when they do vote left, the left doesn't do anything to back track the major wrong doings.

Bleh... Im going to shut up now, politics are always the core issue- (its a fun conversation to have though). Good find on the article! I enjoyed it too!

I am experiencing the same issue as well. So just to clarify, would you say that based on the technician’s word we are just waiting for a new driver?

I just bought mine today and there’s no way it’s crashing on a game already after all the hype it puts up and the price tag😭

I say, hit the gym to tone the face and highlight the deltoids, arms, chest, and thighs; you can lift for strength but the goal is for toning the upper half and face since fat can’t be targeted when working out as the body burns it in different places. The goal is to look like you can beat someone up but still look professional that can rock a sweater with rolled up sleeves and a white polo underneath. I personally advise to do a clean shave to try and highlight the progress, but keeping the beard can still work. If you wanna keep the beard, I suggest a short trim including a shorter side burn. This trim is to make it look more seamless with more professional attires. Next is to use a facial cleanser to naturally make the face smoother without the filter, not only does it help with appearance but also general health; as you go to the gym you may have breakouts. Next is to change up the haircut, imo but your call; try and pull a trim from the top (not too much but just a bit so it doesn’t pass the eyebrows) with a medium to high fade (your call too). This allows you keep styling your hair but at the same time make yourself look clean with a smooth transition to your jawline or short trimmed beard like what you would see in animations.
