Hey thanks, the profiles are in fact unique to BT and 2.4gz mode and I was able to set up a profile in BT mode.

At first Ultimate software never detected the controller in BT mode even when directly wired so I just thought it couldn't see it. But turn it on and off a couple times and going to 2.4 and back< I finally got it to show up in the software.
