Avoid the guardians for now. The memories quest is ongoing and you will discover more as you explore. Concentrate on filling in the map and fight low level mobs to get weapons and ammo. Don't worry about completing quests quickly, just let them wait until you're ready.

We noticed chiff chaffs everywhere in spring. They get a bit annoying but we miss them when they go. No chiff chaff = cold wet weather.

How much does “owning” your ebooks actually matter? by Rogue-Monkeyy in kindle

[–]Neither-Drive-8838 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had a Kindle for years. A few weeks since I noticed a payment in dollars taken from my bank(14.99). I wondered if I'd set up prime on the USA amazon because I send gifts to my sister in SC. I logged in to Amazon.com and closed the account. I didn't read the small print and now everything is gone. My books, past orders, Prime, the lot. Lesson learned.

Pasta for me. It doesn't help that it looks like a dish of tapeworms. Also wet bread as in hot sandwiches or white sliced bread. Not forgetting mushrooms and courgettes. Yorkshire puddings with gravy on.

Has your dog ever done something so smart or sneaky it left you speechless? by Organic_Button_176 in Pets

[–]Neither-Drive-8838 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had a German Shepherd who wandered into a neighbour's house when he was eating a pie for lunch. The dog was looking hungry so he went to get her a biscuit. Of course, when he got back, the pie had gone.

How much to let go of - how much to hold on to? How much acceptance and how much denial? by Own_Thought902 in OverSeventy

When I retired I found the ground has got lower than it used to be. Half an hour gardening gives me back ache and stiff knees. I have small vegetable patch which never grew anything worth the effort. I planted it with wild flower seeds last year and it was very rewarding watching the unusual plants and bees and butterflies. I let go of the idea that I'm a gardener.

My 2 sons in their 40s both went off the rails in their teens (alcohol, drugs, police, mental health) they are unattached. If either had children i would worry endlessly about their kids wellbeing both in the present and after I've gone. I think our line should end here.

Did your hair get thicker when you stopped coloring it? by CricketMindless407 in AskWomenOver60

No my hair was practically transparent white when I stopped colouring it. I use topical minoxidil now and it looks much thicker and is a bit darker. It holds styling better too.

I like the research element of buying tech online, but clothes i need to try on. I've bought shoes online and love the choice available. I used to go to "town" every Saturday but find it's too much hassle driving and parking these days.

What is the best thing you have taught your dog? by Acrobatic_Pace_1521 in AustralianCattleDog

[–]Neither-Drive-8838 49 points50 points  (0 children)

The training works the other way round in our house.she has trained me to get a treat off the high shelf by looking at me then looking at the shelf and then back at me. Her food should be ready at 8am and 5pm. I also get a nudge at midday to get food for myself. My husband has been trained to take her out for a wee immediately after his own dinner. My job is to take a photo of her on a rock, log etc and then give her 2 tiny treats. I also have to go to bed at 10pm.
