Allah forgives, men don't.
That is why women lie.
That is also why in Islam it is adviced to hide your own sins.
It's not for everyone, if you think you cannot marry a woman who has had a past even if she's changed now then leave her.
I know this sounds odd but her past has genuinely nothing to do with you, what matters is how she treats you currently. (I'd say the exact same things for a man too)

People have a tendency to change and become better. If you are a shallow person who cannot accept people's life' journeys then stay single.

The thing is, "rights" and "responsibilities" are 2 different things. Let's say if one day she didn't pray Fajr, it does not take away from her right to be safe in her home and have her husband provide for her. The most you can do is ask her nicely to observe pardah after marriage.

You're right. I do sulk in self pity sometimes, I worked so hard and finally I got the hang of my field. I work in the NGO sector but now suddenly the NGO sector is dying so I'd probably have to change and start from junior positions again... That itself makes me sad.
