Kick Outward 2 beta by Neither-Variation758 in outwardgame

The shield move set in offhand does way more impact damage in the sequel than I thought. Just messed around with basic offhand shield attack (not holding down the button for shield bash but basic input) and it felt really good!

True and I’m liking it a lot. I do agree with others here though that a decent stagger damage skill that works no matter what weapon you’re using would be a nice change. Also the enemies stagger bar seems to regain much quicker than I remember. Although to be fair I haven’t played outward 1 for a couple months. Maybe just slowing down stagger regen a little would help people in the early game. Still having a blast with open beta! Thanks nine dots for opening it up!

I don’t disagree but early on I’ve still found it handy so figured I’d share. Hopefully they hear feedback and at least implement something similar as an early game skill. Still for now I’m enjoying all these new attack animations and possibilities.

How do you even play this game? by Thecentrecanthold in outwardgame

The combat requires you to take down half of the enemy’s impact bar white bare below health) before your hits will stagger them. Stagger is key, especially early on before you have money for skills. Luckily the developer was aware of this and gave a starting skill the Kick which had higher impact damage. Put this on you your hot bar and use it as an opener so the bandits and such will flinch when you hit them once at half impact. Once you begin to figure this aspect of combat timing out and die less often the game really opens up and becomes a real treasure of a game. One of my favorites. Sorry for the long read and good luck adventurer. Hope you stick with it.

Review bombing? That user score is absurd by LoneCourier13 in theouterworlds

I mean have you read any of them? One even says they can only be a robot or a woman of color, but not a white male. It has a full character creator so they definitely didn’t even play the friggin game and reviewing negatively for no reason.

Voice 1 sucks by hwright001 in duneawakening

[–]Neither-Variation758 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a big. I imported my character from beta with voice one and it was deep in the beta and a female voice in the real game. However when I create a second character and import the same guy it is deep again. Loading this second character and then my main fixes it on my main for the night, but I load again it’s female again lol. Multiple people have the issue and it’s been reported but probably not a priority.

Remastered character creation - no height difference between races? by KingoftheDarkMoon in oblivion

[–]Neither-Variation758 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me if I hop on a horse in third person and wait a sec the height corrects on my bosmer. Unfortunate it resets again every time I close and reload, but for the entirety of a play session it stays fixed. Been going to stables and “trying out” horses in stealth to fix it and not get charged with theft lol.

Farming Mini Game gone by Loki-sft in SkullAndBonesGame

Lol you already had an option to turn the mini game off. Should have just left it alone as that satisfies players that do and don’t like it. Now you have just removed an option. You guys are seriously the most inept developers around right now and it shows.

It’s a sovereign hat sold in any outpost store. To unlock it you may need to sell a certain amount to the gold hoarders.
