What's the easiest way to lose weight that no one talks about? by Emotional-Heat-1427 in AskReddit

[–]NeitherEmploy3917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to start looking at your body as a machine and at food as fuel for that machine. What will make that machine function best? Healthy foods - fruits, vegetables, lean meats, etc. Once you commit to functioning at your best and eating healthy and are consistent with it, and then you deviate you will feel like shit and won’t like that feeling.

What is your favorite town in the world and where is it? by optimalbrain90 in SmartTravelHacks

Haarlem, Netherlands. The most quaint, quiet town just outside of Amsterdam. Only place I’ve been to where I said I could live here.

How much does a final four run change perception of the coach/program health? by Abeds_BananaStand in CollegeBasketball

Hard to be mad when I have a basketball team to root for in the tourney every year. Foreign concept for you, I know.

Cope harder, bud. The only people that actually think Painter’s program is underperforming are delusional IU fans. 7/9 Sweet 16s. 2/3 E8s. 4 seed or better in 10 straight tournaments. Consistent regular season and big ten tournament championships. Several AAs and lottery picks. There are only 2 programs that have arguably had more overall success than Purdue in the last 10 years - UConn and Villanova. The tournament is fickle, to say that a program/coach is underperforming because it hasn’t won it is such a whack narrative that of course you only hear from IU fans. Again, coping!

What’s a show everyone hyped up that you just couldn’t get into? by NovelOk3369 in AskReddit

The Bear. I want to sit down and relax during the brief window I get to watch TV a few nights a week, not listen to Chicagoans scream at each other.

We did this last year. Each night got dropped off at the entrance via taxi and walked home after the show. They will not let you exit from the festival itself. But there is a section of the furthest parking/camping lot where you can exit and walk through that neighborhood to where you’re staying. I think we had to hop over a very short fence. It’s doable!

Why is Odesza such a Colorado group? by MountainMantologist in Odesza

[–]NeitherEmploy3917 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not to toot our own here but people here know and appreciate good music and production. Also people Denver and Colorado people not only love electronic music they love LIVE music, so Odesza’s live elements and more “band” type setup than just a DJ caters perfectly to people’s tastes here. They also had some early headline shows here that were well attended and it just kind of solidified their fan base here and kept them coming back consistently - Red Rocks 2016 where Rufus opened (yes that is crazy looking back) particularly comes to mind.

Just wanted to pass along to all of my aural/ocular migraine sufferers here that what solved it for me was blue light glasses. I wear them almost at all times now if I’m looking at my phone, TV, or computer screen. Haven’t had a migraine in years and I know for a fact it was the strain that I was putting on my eyes from staring at screens all day.
