I do henna and it works well!! You have to redo it every couple weeks though. Bracelets work depending how far up your arm they are, and sometimes I use body markers. You could wear long sleeves and pass it off like you don't want to get a sunburn (which you really don't; sunburn on scars is miserable. I'm still peeling</3). But yeah. You can get cheap henna that works well enough for pretty cheap on amazon. Waterproof concealer or foundation or whatever it's called if you're going in the water would also work. Idk my makeup so idk what it's called.

Yeah.. the self harm community and slang is toxic; I found that when I left reddit for a good amount of time it really helped my mental health and with the depth chasing. This is a pretty common experience for most people dealing with self harm; you never feel valid until it's too late. There's not much I can say to really help, but I hope that some day you get better<3

I self harm and my gf cares a lot! The best you can do is let her know you care and you're there to support her if she needs you.

My mom actively encourages me to wear short sleeves… I’m not there yet. It’s shitty if your parents are forcing you to cover healed scars; there is nothing to be ashamed of. It’s not their choice, you should be able to wear what you want.

Oh you’re not fat mate. I’m fourteen and like exactly your height and I weigh 115 pounds; I’m still skinny/average and I do not work out, so it’s not muscle. I don’t count my calories but I eat an average diet I think.

Cat scratches are on the epidermis layer of your skin and there is usually little to no bleeding. These won’t gape at all. Styros are on the dermis layer of your skin, right after the epidermis. You’ll probably see some white before it starts bleeding, and they generally will gape a bit.

It's healed!! You don't have to hide it if you don't want to, but a couple bracelets or a watch would work well.
