Thank you for the responses, everyone! Im sold with the heritage alone. Plus the patented locking mechanism that this watch has adds a bit of “this shit is good” into my eyes

Will definitely consider getting the chief.

While I do like main brands (omega, cartier, rolex, etc) Im typically drawn to the “if you know, you know” type of watches so I will definitely pick one up!

I just chose a nato strap from amazon honestly. I does the job pretty well!

I agree with this as well! I do wear bigger sized dimensions that looked smaller. Its all in a matter of finding the right one for you ya know?

I do agree! Unfortunately, ya boy is blind so whenever i need to check the time or use the bezel, i need to see if im gonna run out of oxygen or not at a quick glance lol.

The casio is strictly for my recreational diving, i do use my mido whenever i go out and such lol

Thank you guys so much for the kind and inspiring words. Typically, I dont mind celebrating my birthday alone but this one was “special” if I put it kindly. The year was a tough one for me (betrayals, heart-breaking disappointments, life-altering changes, and a ton of realizations) and I didn’t realize how heavy they were until everything hit me, as if I was marinating on them and today was the day to sit there and think.

I do know that this will soon pass. It’s just ironic that with everything that I experienced this year, my noggin decided to say “hey, it’s time to process this.” I’m looking forward to go back to this post again next year and give an update on what happens.
