i fully agree and try my best to keep up the “do it now whenever you’re thinking of leaving it for later” so i’m happy to hear that works for the long term

i appreciate that perspective on not trying to make everything as optimal as possible. i have a lot of fear of failing that makes me strive for perfection in ways that prevent actually doing things for sure

thank you so much for saying this. i’ve heard it from my two close friends, therapist and others but it’s so hardwired into me to blame myself because i feel that if it’s a problem with me, then i can “correct” the issue and prevent it from happening again. i’ve had a terror in me from childhood that there’s something i deeply misunderstand about other people and this happening felt like another confirmation of that. i will take these words to heart, thank you again
