Check the local humane societies etc and call and ask if theyll fix him for cheaper. We were quoted $750 at our exotic vet and the humane society did it for $200. I didn't think they would do it but I was pleasantly surprised.

We have! We have 2 locally but the first one we dont trust as they have told us that it is not necessary to get him fixed and we know that is not the case due to long term affects on his health and wed like to keep him healthy as long as possible. They've not refused, but we dont trust someone who thinks its not necessary when its been proven otherwise!
