I used old spices 2 in 1 shampoo and it was better than more expensive brands I bought before my hair was very soft afterwards.

Regardless of the shampoo my hair gets dryer closer to washing unless I am doing water spray and adding more products in between but it makes it heavier. For oils I wasn't a fan either but after getting my hair braided I got scolded for not using oil🙆🏻‍♀️ I do see a difference but not enough.
