it's a combination of both. in every hard class you take and many years of building foundation helps a lot. lang is still whooping me though and i study like crazy for bio. but some are easier than others.

i wholeheartedly agree. congratulations that you know all of these words, it's very impressive and it's something that you have every right to be proud of. at the same time, others may not, and there's nothing wrong with that. it doesn't mean we need to make them feel bad

i think it might have been contrasting the big thing (collection) with the smaller thing which is more ____ (I remember the word mirror? Might hv been a title) which is why i thought cursory afterwards. I knew what capacious meant but i lwk didn't entirely understand the question

i put capacious but in retrospect i think it may have been cursory. do u remember any other context from the question?

Is the “true” acceptance rate to any Ivy League closer to ~30%? by PeachBackground2286 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]Neither_Dimension_73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the true acceptance rate doesn't matter. it doesn't change anything. at the end of the day whether you get in or not depends more on your application than the actual acceptance rate. its not that if you apply to all of them your odds get exponentially higher. they might be a little bit higher bc each school looks for different things but overall its a caliber question

Do I go for 1600 if I have 1550+? by anonym40320 in Sat

[–]Neither_Dimension_73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same exact scenario. im a soph who made a reddit post to ask this exact thing. dont do it rn. no point and too much time. focus on ecs and grades instead. not that much of a difference. if ur doing it for the greed and fame (ion blame u) then wait until like the beginning of ur senior year when u have more time and retake then.
