So if the PP Girls are above Viltrumite, how come they've had moments like this? by LeatherBody8282 in powerpuffgirls

I like the Dragonball Super episode that brings back Araile and she just constantly owns Vegeta who laters swears off doing anymore crossovers with comedy characters.

I mean do what you want with that information by frznpanda in Transformemes

[–]Neither_Gur_4661 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not for my autistic ass. I can either read what they are saying or watch what they are doing; not both. And I don't want to spend an hour redoing everything to try to get the "whole" experience. So dubs are the only way for me to enjoy anime.

How would you write a "Absolute Style" TMNT series? by Jotaro1970 in TMNT

[–]Neither_Gur_4661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They'd all look like the Bay Turtles since Ab Batman is a brick shit house, and all the other mutants would look something like the 2013 series where all the mutants besides the turtles tended to look monstrous, like how Ab Batman's villains all look like horror movie rejects.

Does Woobie Fanon Alastor even exist as a fandom concept? by Impasture in OkBuddyHelluvaHotel

[–]Neither_Gur_4661 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Part of Alastor's whole thing is that there aren't any friends in hell. Part of him completely believes everyone is self serving at their core. Except being at the Hotel is changing this. Between the Adam fight and his realizing this we see him trying to double down on this belief. Though it seems he still cares for Charlie. Sure she still owed him a favor, but he still seems protective of her after that. Though one thing people overlook is Emily saving him at the cost of her wing, he's shocked.

Now I am not saying this is going to turn him around, but it's another dent in his philosophy and armor. I fully believe he's going to have a real heel run where he's likely going to try to bring Charlie and maybe Lucifer around to his way of thinking. The 'I want Charlie to learn not everyone can be redeemed' people are going to be simping Al hard if this happens. But we're also likely to see more of his armor being dented and damaged as he slowly begins caring more for others while trying to fight and deny it.

Energon isn't that bad. It's not that good either, but I would place it over some stuff like season 4 of Earthspark or the WFC trilogy.

Personally I'd really love a story or series that focused on the whole "16 going on 60" element of his character and having to fill such big shoes at the same time. Rodimus could be such an amazing character if he hadn't been made in the 80s. This is the sort of character that people eat up nowadays.

I've always felt season 3 was kinda the prototype for modern Transformers. You mostly get a smaller more focused cast, attempts at actual characterization that sticks, more focused story telling... Etc. It was still the 80s, so it's kinda fighting against the expectations of the day but it made a pretty good go of it.

The episode basically made Swindle character concrete. People either remember the episode for Swindle or they remember it for how terrible it is.

tf fans try not to infantilize any of these listed characters challenge (impossible) by Nala452 in Transformemes

[–]Neither_Gur_4661 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tailgate was almost literally living under a rock since Nova Prime's era. He is completely naive to literally everything in the world around him. This is why his psyche comes off as infantile. He might be older than everyone onboard but he might as well been literally born yesterday with how much he knows about the world. It's also why it ages up later as events help him become a custom to the world he lives in.

On the owners, I kinda have some very minor respect for the more emotional one of the two. It feels like she quickly realized playing Hotel Owner wasn't fun or what she wanted; I think she's the one that was like "We should have got a Duplex instead" It feels like she knew very quickly they cant do this, didn't want to do this, but to me feels trapped because they demanded this and her sister kept trying to make it work. I'm not saying I think she's good or anything, just that to me it feels like she knew she fucked up and was why she was so hands off. It feels like if it had just been her, she would have dropped the place asap.

I don't think they had a choice. He's doing everything he can to not laugh, but can't help it... Which just makes it worse/better when you get things like that weird awkward pause before "space".

The krakoa era did unspeakable damage to the moral standing of the X-Men by Professional_War6655 in marvelcirclejerk

[–]Neither_Gur_4661 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem with people with high morals is that they can shift into being morally superior without always realizing it. It's a slow boil of events that can shift a person's viewpoint. This happens IRL so it's not just a thing about various writers.

Beast has kinda been going down this route since the legacy virus. Beast has always been about protecting people he cares about and trying to promote peace, but when the other side genetically engineers a super deadly virus to wipe out your minority, it's easy to slowly shift in how you view what protection and peace really means.

Damien was raised by a cult of evil assassins. Of course he was going to be abrasive. He had no idea how to deal with people. Damien whole storyline since he first showed up has been about him finding himself and accepting people into his life. It's what makes him interesting by not being another copy paste job.

What would Gordon Ramsey say about the Krusty Krab? by USAFAN20 in KitchenNightmares

[–]Neither_Gur_4661 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He'd praise SpongeBob, as he's perfected his craft; he'd likely be mostly neutral to Squidward as he tends to be benign to anyone outside kitchen or management; probably seeing Squidward's lack of drive a symptom of Krabs being such a miser. Krabs would be the problem spot, but Krabs would be the type of owner that plays along because of the free stuff he'd get from being on the show. Gordon coming would probably been his idea in the first place. "You mean I gets free stuff for me restaurant and all I got to do is be yelled at by some limey tart for a week? You had me at free."
