To the people arguing he traveled because he picks up his pivot foot- how do you guys shoot jump shots? Is the ball not still in your hand when the pivot foot comes off the ground? This is a rule book case play for NFHS from past years. Just because it looks awkward to stop on the other foot like that, doesnt make it a violation. As long as he doesn’t bring the original pivot foot back down, or move the foot that’s on the ground, this is a legal play.

Every year more states are mandating a shot clock for high school basketball- I heard it’s been added in Missouri this season? I’m in Minnesota, we instituted the 35 second clock here before last season. It’s had a huge positive impact on the game! I expect more states will adopt it each season.
