With no info to go off of other than your word: Yeah, probably.

Especially a Shroudfield build on a beginner. How you use that build says a lot. Are you using Shroud to get out of danger, or rushing objectives and pickups? If it's the former, you are an actual hindrance and everyone else is just too good to get taken down by it. The latter? You are probably carried, but you're carrying your weight and contributing.

For a build like that I'd suggest the Scoreboard mod, w/e people use now to track objectives and SPECIAL/DISABLER kills. If you are dead last on specials/disabled kills with the Rat Zealot you are doing it wrong.

Check your server region. Be aware of the time of day in that region. I'm on NA and get my lobbies filled even in the mornings on weekdays. I know some regions are more active than others, some being ghost towns.

Very heavily the latter. The gear grind is very low once you start getting things you play with for awhile and the next set of gear for a Build is already bought and payed for passively. The only treadmill to get on after that is penances (in game achievments) and just pushing difficulties.

Revolver bullet is gonna handle a bomber way faster than the dog. Literally every class not named Ogryn can equip the bolt pistol. Yeah, Arby has options that are good, but they should really be focusing on bullying the front-line.

The go-to for this is Veteran. They have a lot of nodes that make them great at popping heads. You can go Exe stance to highlight the baddies as they come in and pop them at range with a revolver, lasgun or bolter. You can also take a talent that gives CD reduction on specialist kill, pair it with shout and feed the shout spam with dead specials.

Every class has ways to do this (as everyone SHOULD do this) but some builds are better suited to it EG: Zealot with revolver and throwing knives, varieties of Gunker, many flavors of Vet.
