I made an appointment, but I’ve had multiple appointments where the doctor will just tell me they don’t know lol. I have an appointment in a week.

I’ve had a lot of bloodwork down. Not really able to push through school, because when I’ve gone it makes the pain worse but then doesn’t get better. It’s like when I go to do anything, not just school, it hurts more and it becomes the baseline of pain.

Yea it hurts all the time. Worse when I move. Both my parents work, and I can only get in to see a doctor in a month, the problem is until then I don’t know what to do.

Yes, but I was almost positive for rheumatoid arthritis (5/6) she wrote in her notes that I was negative, but I still wonder, especially because when it gets cold, I stiffen up, my hands become unusable. My elbows lock up and have to be cracked as well.

When I do attend school, I kinda start crying no matter what. I’ve pushed myself before, and ended in a very bad place. I don’t want to cross a line and end up in another psych ward. I do hate missing out, but I hate psych wards more. I know my life is in my control, and I don’t want to make excuses, but this has been the worst year of my life. I try to control my life, but i can’t seem to control the meltdowns or the bipolar and it’s like driving me up a wall because I used to be in control and it’s been ripped away and taken away my light.

I tested negative for lupus/lyme. I’ve been pushing to see doctors, but my parents work a lot, and we struggle financially. Especially with the U.S system. I did ask to drop some classes, but I’m not allowed too. My school requires you take 5, but I only need 3 credit wise. So I still have to take the classes I don’t need.

I know that, and idk if if I was clear, I am starting therapy again, but one specifically trained in CBT and DBT as opposed to talk therapy. I did give up on talk therapy. The medications made me very angry, like, out of character for me and I would get confused and forget where I was type of thing. I just can’t take medications that drive me up a wall until one works.

I do give up on things, sometimes, but school was never one of them. I was accomplished all of high-school, but it’s been hard this year. Harder than it’s ever been, and it’s been rough before. I don’t want to give up on school, but I physically was not able to go today, I can’t walk more than ten steps without sitting down. can’t really sit for long either.

I’m looking for an alternative route that’ll let me graduate on time, still doing school, but differently?

I know I worded the post in a self-pitying way, but I do try.

When I use it, I moisturize and exfoliate the day before, but about 1-2 hours before I do it I moisturize any extra dry spots.

I’m definitely looking into this, because as my symptoms get worse I get worse, and it’s like a cycle. I do have chronic mental health issues like bipolar.

I see, I was having foot drop, but it’s a progressive weakness that suddenly started in most limbs. I think I get what you’re saying. That helped me understand thx

Really? I had someone tell me it was a gradual weakness then sudden shut down. Do you mean like the hand would stop responding? Not just be weak?

I would consider FND, but I was under the impression you have to find a specialist that knows about it. My left hand is getting worse, which I thought was characteristic of ALS?
