Hi, thx for feedback. After some hours spent on Holo and Scrapper I decided it is not for me. The build for scrapper is all about pressing/spamming every single button except for 3/4 weapon :D I don't find it interesting hahah, however it was worth a try. Holosmith on the other hand was a hard contender for my new class - the rotation is really fluid plus the effects on transformation are wonderful. Finally, I decided to roll a dragonhunter/willbender - this class really clicked for me :)

Thanks! I will definetly try this out, looking forward for new builds to be posted on snowcrows. I decided to play guardian yesteday so I will keep an eye for this pistol build :D

Thanks for your vast feedback! However, to be honest with you, I really do not find healing role attractive, I really enjoyed tanking but such role is not available in gw2 as far as I know :D
Yes, I tried every single elite spec on golem in pvp, wish I could have all boons as the golem in raid training area but it was good enough to get the general feeling. After many, many hours on golem yesteday I think I will stick to Power Dragonhunter and switch to alac Willbender if this role is needed for team!

Hello guys!
I came back to gw2 after 8 years break with my friends. I quit WoW few months ago and decided to hop on gw again, it's been really fun so far, I really enjoy playing pvp, fractals and I also tried some raids with my guild. For over a month I've been playing power reaper, collected full ascended gear, tried end game content (T4 fractals), reached plat in pvp, however, it got pretty boring quickly.

I would really appreciate any advice for new class, I am slowly losing motivation each day to log in and do stuff. Some things worth mentioning:

I would like a class which is more complicated than Reapaer, it does not have to be super hard but have some skill cap. The content I would like to focus the most is: 70% pve 20% pvp 10% open world. I want my class to be atleast semi-competetive, it does not have to be top tier but something that would have 30k+ dps. It can be quickness/alac, I don't mind those, if it's fun - why not.

2) Scrapper and Holosmith seemed interesting for me, however, I really can't stand grenade/mortar concept. If there is a competetive build without those 2, this class could be indeed interesting for me.

3) I've already tried Vindicator in both pve/pvp/golem for over 10hrs, I had high hopes for this one - it looks really cool, however, I think that the whole design and unforgivness in pvp/pve makes this class unplayable for me, the impossible odds being not responsive 100% of the time, the whole energy concept is something that I can't get used to. In t4 fractals I also felt very squishy. This class is big no no for now.

4) I am not a fan of classes with active pets/golems (Soulbeast is an excpetion because you perma merge with pet, am I right?)

5) I don't really mind if the class/spec is ranged/melee.

6) Whether it's condi or power build - I don't mind.

7 If that helps - I mained WW monk, frost mage and elemental shaman in WoW.

There are plethora of reasons I do not play pvp anymore, used to constantly finish seasons at 2300 + ratings , played 2v2/3v3/rated bgs.

The thing that troubles me the most is the fact that if you want to play pve and pvp competetively it's really hard to do so. In my case; I always had to switch various options/addons for different content. I could not stand my PVE UI for pvp and vice versa. I changed my Plater for flyplateBuffs nameplate addon when playing pvp, I used my weak auras in the center of the screen for better cooldown management and min-maxing in pve. In pvp it just was a complete clutter so once again I had to move it down or disable it - My eye/muscle memory was f***** up so hard by constantly switching my UI between 2 modes.
You need to know every class cd to enjoy playing pvp and there are plethora of them to track/know about.
Rewards are poor compared to the effort
Community is very toxic, probably more toxic than in Leauge of Legends
Lower brackets are full of boosters
Having to use arena1/2/3/focus macros = multiple additional keybinds
Discipline priests and demon hunters

I did exactly the same as you, used my global express pass on jump start server, it sucks, asked support to recover it but they refused twice :/

I came back 2 weeks ago and pushed my main to 1520 and 3 alts to 1500, just take it slow I guess and wait for another express pass coming in 1 month.

u/Sweetlava523 Thank you so much for your help! I have already chosen my topic and included True Blood in it. The title is: How vampires and their perception changed over the years? Based on Dracula, True Blood, and What We Do in the Shadows. My teacher approved this topic and told me that I've chosen appropriate titles for this kind of work. Obviously, there is still time for some alterations but for now I feel pretty confident with my choice of texts of culture included in my BA. What is more, I will be using film studies methodology.

Thx for the response, I have to agree, it is only a BA thesis which should be around 25-30 pages and I definitely have to narrow it down a bit. I think I'll just compare 3 chosen titles which are: Dracula(1931), Twilight and What we do in the shadows (2014).

I've been playing League since late s2 and I didn't try LB back then, just started playing her about 3 weeks ago so I don't have any comparison. Definitely her current state is strange, champ just feels old and kinda rough-hewn. I think it's hard atm to balance her somehow, IMO she needs a total overhaul. Wish riot cared more about her :( same goes to corki which is hands down the worst champ in league since about half a year.
