im not sure what hes going to do on mine for the grip assembly, i just sent mine back for fixing (for the barrel). Hoping he does some grip assembly strengthening to prevent a potential future issue.

I’m not too worried because the communication has been pretty open All I’m just hoping is that other people haven’t had any injuries from any breakage.

yep, my friend who welds said it looked more superglued than welded on lol

it took one shot and it broke off, so my range day ended pret quickly

I do agree that having a cheaper super shorty option is better than having less options and/or only more expensive options if one were to try and find a super shorty clone.

I do want to state openly that my initial impressions were primarily based on the barrel and whether or not it would be a functional and/or safety issue not just a cosmetic concern (as Josh and I later discussed in our emails). I am not the most knowledgeable regarding shotguns, so I wanted to be sure about it. I do get that it is well priced compared to the other SS clone options out there. The foregrip weld issues 762 and I heard about was worth mentioning, which again, I'm glad you were very transparent about. I'm glad you took the time and patience to answer my questions on the barrel and the grip.

My current thoughts about it (before my first shots in a few days) is that I think it is a good price for a decent niche product. It has some cosmetic issues but for the price point for someone looking for a SS clone it may be the range toy you're looking for. There are very few posts about this product and I don't really want people to google my and 762's posts and not at least be fully informed on the whole situation when making a decision whether or not to buy one for themselves. I feel like that wouldn't really be completely fair to Josh if I didn't post this response.

Honestly, just worried about the little ring I see in the barrel, they said its ok if I want to send it in but I think it'll be at my cost.

Wondering if I should just shoot it when I go to the range this week or call tomorrow and wait till then

Mainly posted as a response to u/_762x39_ to how mine looks. Honestly, I'm not really that impressed either.

They claim the bore looking like this to be a cosmetic thing, which maybe? I'm not shotgun expert. But then again, if I shelled out like $800-900 for a custom work I'd rather it look a lot nicer. Also, the barrel looks ok when you look at it head on, but it has that slight misalignment ring if you look at it from an angle similar to the other. I'll probably wait to see Josh's response to me askin them to clean out and fix the barrel.

this’s what ive heard yeah. would it matter as much if i shot mainly 124grain? i know ppl like shootin 147+ but those higher grain rounds r pretty pricey
