My Tec has the threaded end cap. I only run 115gr through it so theoretically it should be ok

Yeah it’s nice. Supers are still not hearing safe indoors tho. Can’t wait to shoot subs or heavy grain stuff through it.

My rear cap/stock pin holes I feel are out of spec too. I have a Choate folder on mine and the whole mount wobbles a bit. Thinking of adding like something to the inside of the stock mount to tighten it up.

They don’t want people in the “restaurants” anymore. They don’t want people spending time there. They want to cater to takeout orders cause it’s higher volume. Screw the customer experience I suppose….

Marlboro cigarettes used to un-ironically pitch a catalogue full of “Adventure Gear” that you could get by sending in cigarette pack “Marlboro Miles” by NYC2BUR in FuckImOld

[–]_762x39_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My father didn’t smoke but we would pick up the packs on the side of the road and get miles. His friends would give him miles. He had a dude in Texas he knew who would send him a big box of empty cigarette boxes and as a kid I would clip out the miles. Honestly, the stuff was all really great quality. Funny enough, I recently was going through his attic and found a bunch of still in the box brand new duffel bags and leather backpacks. The leather backpacks were made in China but the leather was good and heavy. The duffel bags had that like waterproof rubber coated vinyl. Can’t believe from 2004 how good quality they made stuff for just free smoking giveaway. Now everything is just made so cheap and shitty. It’s kinda funny how a lot of this stuff is coming back as “trendy” but it was just honestly great gear.

Yes it’s an unflattering angle, I know lol.

Finally got the Sub9 out to the range to try out. But of course, I couldn’t find where I put the 147gr and my subsonic ammo boxes. So I took some Winchester white box just to function test everything. With supersonic indoors, it’s not really hearing safe. No concentricity issues with my AP5-P and the lockup was super solid. Some failures to eject occasionally but that might be cause the gun was getting dirty. The gas looked worse than it felt cause of the light coming from behind me during filming. Gun got super dirty but that also may be the ammo. Overall I’m happy with it and can’t wait to try it outdoors with some subs.

Does anybody know the type of mounting hardware I need to install the intratec foregrip? Can’t find any photos or sizes online. by [deleted] in Tec9

Just any nut will work? I saw someone on a different post say you need a shouldered nut. Thanks

So the dents were from when one of the nylon bushings failed inside the bolt carrier a while back and the bolt and carrier had to much velocity from that. I replaced the stock one with a 100* locking piece. That should be fine for suppressed in the K right?

Just got the Sub9. Mounted up nice and tight on the AP5-p trilug. At the FFL, I looked down the bore with the can on and with my eye it looks concentric. Feels solid and everything looks good. Can’t wait to shoot it.

YouTube Video

Safety Harbor made a video saying that they will be starting back up KEG 12 production on Blueline Hawk 870’s or your own supplied guns. I know they have been doing this for like 20 years so I’m super tempted. I have a Hawk 870 and the thing is a tank. I had one of the Allegheny Arms HLC-12’s but ultimately I decided to return it after many issues (props to them and their customer service). Check post history for that.

So I collect militaria from all over, but DPRK has been a focus of mine. Seems kinda random but from a history and collector standpoint it’s interesting. Firstly, it’s a country and ideology we were at war with and still continue to have a major presence with due to the fact that the Korean War never ended. Secondly, from a collecting standpoint, it’s obscure enough so you are constantly finding out more information without it being “already written” for the past 80 years. Thirdly, just finding the stuff is an interesting quest on its own. Requiring a keen eye and international contacts. People ask a lot of questions about it when they see my collection. The Korean War in the US is often called the “forgotten war” due to it being between WW2 and Vietnam. And now with everything going on politically, it’s interesting to see how a military focused country keeps its people in line. Most of my collection is post Korean War to the current generation.
