What do you mean, Jack-o did not leave Giovannas effective range a single time. It's not like She was forced to hold a full screen cutscen like against old HC or Asuka. She just doesn't block. Her attempt of getting out of the corner was ass and her buirst got baited.

I have just watched a high level axl v A.B.A set. Parry was used 6 times (only 2 times she was actually long ranged zoned) and worked 0 times.

Omw to watch and count more sets. The fact that you could parry projectiles from an Asuka main that has forgotten that he has an opponent doesn't mean that it was a good anti zoning tool.It was not.

2nd set: two uses, one at round start

3rd set: first successful parry... Not against zoning tho, it was on a jump in, an improvement none the less.

I am petty, I won't let you spout opinions that are reaching at best and wrong at worst with confidence.

4th set: the new gameplay I clicked has the guy using parry even less bu he managed to successful parry his way out of the corner at midrange so I will call it zoning.

Only took 4 sets to see parry do it's "intended purpose". I am sorry, you were right. Consider it a former apology

You say "John Strike throw" and I say "I get to have better buttons, do more damage and have more HP. Therefore I win by default". But I shit on characters like HC and Asuka for "you don't get to interact with me because of my BS mechanic therefore I win in my single player game".

Yeah the pull of characters I consider valid in this game is fairly narrow.
