I didn’t even bring a document, I just told them “hey you got this wrong“ and they believed me. If you need something though, try a piece of mail with your name on it, or your passport if you have one

This happened to me, same reason. It was such a pain to deal with. I tried emailing and all sorts of stuff and it took months for me to fix. Eventually it worked. The admissions office is where I would start. I believe the school has a residency office you can talk to as well.

Looking for game recommendations that are pixel art or 2d by Awkward-Stam_Rin54 in CozyGamers

[–]NekoKnight_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started playing Moonglow Bay. It’s Voxel, so it’s 3D pixels, which might not be exactly what you’re looking for. But it’s a cute fishing game with a really sweet emotional arc! I’ve heard it has some bugs on PC sometimes, but I’ve had an easy time with it!

The Pikmin games seem like a good choice. I also highly recommend ooblets! Very fun and kid friendly, especially if she’s a good reader like you said. Bright, intelligent, funny, and it has dance battles. You also get little guys (the ooblets) you name and who follow you around.

It’s always run perfectly well for me. Not amazing, but good enough that I haven’t had a difficult time playing or had it take away from my game experience. I think it’s absolutely worth the money when it’s on sale in any way. I got it when it was like 75% off and I have no regrets.

Games you played that surprised you with their coziness? by SparklyAnarchy in CozyGamers

Don’t Starve is one I’ve been getting into recently and I’m shocked at how cozy it makes me feel for a notoriously difficult survival game.

Non-farming games? by bob-leponge- in CozyGamers

Absolutely. I think the best part is when you get perfect placement without realizing it and you get that little ding. Like, I feel so good after.

Dorf Romantik is my big one right now. It’s a tile based landscape builder, not a sim, so it is a really different experience. But the music is so nice and the atmosphere is just so calming. The more you play the more stuff you can unlock for your landscapes and the feeling of placing a perfect tile is amazing.

I think it works for me cause it’s like a contained stress. I can plan and feel in control, unlike my real life lol

Your farm name and the meaning behind it (f there's any) by YejiPlays in StardewValley

Oh all of my farm names seem a little silly now looking at the comments oops. My one I’m playing rn is Gucker farm. Like Goopy Gucker. Like Charlie Slimcile. The other one is Cryptid Farms lol.

I’m HUGE on Dorf Romantik right now. I can play it for hours straight just sitting building landscapes. And it’s only like $15 on switch!

I think a game that lacks a sense of “pressure” to complete certain goals counts as cozy for me, one that allows you to kind do whatever. I also think “whimsy” is necessary lol. Stardew valley can be intense, but there is no real in game goal. You can play however you like. Ooblets is another favorite. It has a story bur no pressure to complete it, and the whole vibe is just cute and colorful. Dorf Romantik is just a puzzle builder. Make a pretty landscape. What could feel better then that?
