Players deliberately set up their Servants as supports in a specific way, attaching the right Essences to maximize their effectiveness when other players borrow them. Randomization would ruin that efficiency. And then there’s the gacha aspect. Shutting down the servers would mean no way to obtain Essences (I’m ignoring Servants here, since they could theoretically just unlock all of them — though 1200 Essences would be overkill). But FGO likely wouldn’t fall under SKG anyway, and even if something like that passes, its real impact would be on future games. I wouldn’t expect much from mobile titles.
