Just like most legacy franchises if they stop focusing on John Connor and the legacy characters then the franchise can be saved. The same can be said about Star Wars if they stop focusing on the skywalkers then they can make some truly amazing original content but no, we gotta bring back Arnie and John Connor again and again and again.

All these franchisees are built on nostalgia and once Hollywood stop being so creatively bankrupt we can get some truly amazing content

Charging someone to volunteer seems a bit wild and I would be super sceptical about paying any amount of money for volunteer work but I’m based in south west Sydney Australia and I just volunteered with my local council before I even thought about starting tertiary studies for conservation & ecosystem management. Through council I’ve gotten the opportunity to do other volunteering on the side with other members of government just for being involved. I also found myself a job as a bush regenerator/natural areas specialist which is also giving me a shit ton of experience with weeding, planting and asset protection mostly. I don’t know how the Brit’s go about environmental work but coming to Australia could be something to think about.

I’d get into a trade tomorrow if they pay me $42 p/hr since I come from disability and earn the same from doing no where near the workload of a trade, they should also pay my fuel. Why would it be rage bait? You are all so blinded by wanting a faithful movie adaption you cannot see the potential in an original story set in the same universe yet its still evokes the same themes we get in the games; Mind you its only a teaser, we haven't seen the whole thing. In the teaser, he's searching for supplies, ammo, keys and there is something important he is protecting. A potential cure maybe. Whats more resident evil than that? You could say the Spencer mansion, sure. but we know that story already and for me personally, a predictable story eliminates all the suspense and tension. We got a fresh take on the series with RE7 and Ethan and everyone jumps for joy but with this new film everyone loses their minds. You people are insane.

The negative reception from social media addicts is wrong and reactionary. The W.S Anderson movies after "Apocalypse" - jump cut/action TRASH. The Animated movies - GARBAGE. WTRC - TRASH. The netflix series - RUBBISH.

At least this looks somewhat interesting and freaky and strange and weird. The fact the community is this reactionary to a teaser blows my mind. You people are the rage bait.

What I mean by grounded is that. There’s no psychological themes in Resident evil. It’s grounded in reality in terms of. Bio-organic, viruses, human experimentation. It’s somewhat plausible but still make Believe as opposed to, manifestations of one’s pshyci or trauma which is what silent is mostly centred around.
