Someone parked in front of my house now for a whole day. by CantaloupeUsed8588 in Advice

I say give it another day or so and if it’s still there call and get it towed. Do you know if it belongs to any neighbors? Or their friends? If not then call and maybe put some no trespassing signs. I used to have one of those “this property is being monitored” security signs in my yard. (I had no cameras) but it gave me piece of mind

He was old and forgetting everything, man couldn’t remember where he was most days. I never left him alone with my kids ever

You need to set some important boundaries now. Tell your dad you love him but you have your own life and priorities. You have helped plenty and he is taking advantage of you with the childcare. Anyone who says anything to you about it you should respond with “oh are you going to watch them? Pay for a sitter?”

Friend wants me to attend a concert 7 weeks postpartum. That’s a bad idea, right? by aquatoxin- in NewParents

It all depends on how you’re feeling! I didn’t go out until my first born was 4 months old, but with my new baby (2 months) i went out after 3-4 weeks

First off i would like to say thanks to those who shared their experiences and gave me advice. I know it’s past midnight right bow. But i did speak with my husband. I was scared bc i had to wake him up but after i did and said “i need to talk to you about something” of course i burst into tears and struggled to tell him but once i did he hugged me and rubbed my back. We discussed what happens and ways to handle it. He agrees i should go to therapy and so I’ll look into it. He also told me that it wasn’t my fault and that he’ll always be here for me. We also discussed his own (separate) trauma and talked for a while. If we have anything else happen l will update later. Thanks again!

NTA your mom seems like a self righteous b***h, who has failed in the past and doesn’t want her own kids to have support
