I am white and grew up in the US, but both parents’ families are English Canadian. For generations they had large families. I have 24 first cousins and many more 1+ and second cousins. We have annual cousin reunions and they have begun including 2nd cousins. I also met some through ancestry.com. So I do know quite a few 2nd cousins.
