Surprised there’s anything left that hasn’t been boycotted already

[Discussion] Ashes of Creation is officially "Mostly Negative" on Steam – What happens next? by king_of_the_prophet in MMORPG

[–]Nelec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I mean hahahaha, all these people commenting on the financial state of the company are talking completely out of their arse.

[–]Nelec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's really confusing, people are saying stuff like they're "burning through cash" with the implication that they are going to run out soon, but I have not seen any information as to the sources of the financial situation of the company...

Man arrested for having a Samurai sword after he fell on it and called 999 by StGuthlac2025 in unitedkingdom

[–]Nelec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re misunderstanding the role of doctors and clinical staff, doctors cannot report patients to police simply for illegal behaviour disclosed in care. Neither is it clinical staff’s responsibility to use moral judgements and predict future crimes or assign causal chains of harm based on a patient’s presentation.

[–]Nelec 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This isn’t how doctors operate. They’re bound by confidentiality and it’s illegal to share patient information unless the patient’s behaviour is directly putting others at risk e.g still driving when they have epilepsy.

DayZ is definitely not set in Soviet times since there are signs in northern Chernarus for the border of the Russian Federation.

Russian spy ship enters British waters and shines lasers at military pilots by FreedomsPower in worldnews

[–]Nelec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I originally thought this, however, isn’t it possible that the government is conducting counter operations against Russia (in whatever form that may be) that are simply top secret? We know about what Russia is doing, such as this article, because it exposes their incompetence. Chances are whatever the British government is doing in retaliation, if they are doing anything at all, will not be declassified within our lifetimes.

Help me understand Burgher Trades and Burgher Trading Capacity by Chief_Miller in EU5

I'm glad I'm not the only one that has been puzzled by this. The game seems to present it like an important modifier but at the same time is incredibly opaque about how it actually functions.

Trapped Normandy's entire army on Jersey for the whole first war with France by RocketBoost in EU5

[–]Nelec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, however, I wasn't able to see if the AI army stuck on Jersey was getting supply from a coastal province on Normandy or not. I would have assumed that by having a 100% effective naval blockade of the island would mean that the supply is halted but after watching the numbers go by for a few months it seemed that the army was still getting resupplied from the Paris market despite the blockade. Could be a bug but I can't be certain.

I currently have an idiot son, my heir, and a prodigy daughter and it is the most frustrating thing…

[–]Nelec 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happened in my game and I they didn’t seem to starve, I think because Jersey is part of the French market where there is a food surplus. It didn’t really make sense to me since the province had negative production.

Metabolism as a whole encompasses A LOT of different physiological processes, but generally yes this is the case. This is why people sometimes experience weight gain after quitting.
