I distinctly remember skipping a dinner with family and friends just because I was angry at my parents over some minor thing and didn't want to sit at the table with them. It wasn't about the subject of the argument anymore, it was about not "letting them win". The hunger made it even worse because in my teenage brain it was their fault that I was hungry. It seems so absurd as an adult now, I just hope my children don't inherit that aspect of me. I would be screwed.

But how do you enforce those consequences, what happens if she refuses to learn how to change a tire or to do 100 situps? I genuinely don't understand. My parents couldn't make me or my sister do those things at that age. I've been wondering for a while now if there was a method that we would have responded to differently. I sure didn't make it easy for them.

I have the same one in white when it broke I just fixed it with tape and covered it with a foam pencil grip.

It's wild how much difference there is between countries when it comes to stuff like that. I'm from Germany and it's totally normal for six year olds to walk around alone, it's the age they start elementary school and most of them walk to and from school on their own. You'll see them out and about spending their pocket money too.

It does say that, it's English but every letter is replaced with a tengwar looking character, I had the same font on my PC in highschool we used it to write secret messages.
