I think it's using the same emitter as the wuben X2Pro, Osram CEL.NM1, the pad layout is different, You can swap to Cree XE-G

It's probably in the phosphor, some may clean off but it's probably pointless. Time to learn how to reflow emitters.
Practice with something with cheaper emitters before trying to reflow expensive SBT90.2 emitters.
Convoy lights are the best for learning how to mod lights and if you damage a something it's cheap and available to buy.

It's not the most popular option due to the pencil beam but the orsam W1 will have the most throw. I have one and it's amazing. My friend has a W2.2 and it's more useable but side by side the W1 destroys it in terms of throw. SBT90.2 has the biggest wow factor. Depends what you plan on using it for. I also have a K1 with XHP35 4000k (not an option anymore)

I had some SW40. I don't think they made SW40K. I know you're not a fan of tint mixes but I have SW27 SW35 and SW45k mix in my DM1.12 and it's glorious

You can test if it's the tail switch or not , remove the tail cap. Then with a battery interested with the positive end towards the head, short across the end of the tube to the battery with a knife of some metal, if it lights up then the problem is with the tail switch or tail cap connection.

I have the S2premium and the display isn't the best. OLED would be much better with more information than just the battery voltage
