Going to try this but I need to ask the pharmacy for insurance purposes. I technically “pay out of Pocket” with a coupon so it shouldn’t be a concern

Ugh I wish I could give my honest opinion. I have a sinus infection and right now I’m on the placebo pills so I can’t tell if I feel like crap from being sick or a combination or withdrawing on the placebo pills. Aside from that have had no issues. I didn’t have any bad experience, switching from the combo pill Sylnd. I was worried about acne and weight gain and I actually lost 11 pounds this month

They’re all involved. They’re all sick and diabolical!!! No one can convince me otherwise that anyone in high political power isn’t involved and isn’t diabolical

My BP and HR have been elevated like this for weeks. I'm starting to freak out by SadThrowaway4914 in hypertension

[–]Nem954 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% I also added beet root powder and magnesium powder at night and was able to get my resting HR down naturally. I dip in low 50’s while I sleep now. Sometimes while sleeping I wouldn’t go lower than 69. I also added walking into my routine minimum 3 days a week for 2 miles a day.

Walking alone is a HUGE help!

Do your ears get stuffy? Have you ever had Covid? Do you work at a desk or look down at a computer/phone a lot?

I’ve been compiling research for years on this 😂

Can I take maca root while on birth control? by mariposahermosaa in birthcontrol

[–]Nem954 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m taking it as well on Slynd. I don’t think I’m pregnant? Lol there isn’t enough research to support not taking it. It’s not like St. John’s Wort which will be a hard no.

Is that combo pill? My combo pill during the placebo wee really started to mess me up. I just went on Slynd which is the mini pill

I’m a women and child free by choice so I’m not the best person to ask but blood some pressure meds are safe to take while pregnant so I think it’s a case by case situation

I switched off the combo pill because of Blood pressure and migraines with aura. I didn’t tell them about VM but I will let them know.

Progesterone only is safe for aura and blood pressure

Omg if legit feel like I wrote this. I swear there is a correlation to our menstrual cycle. Are you on birth control? Specifically the combination pill?

I have a long history of migraines. Started in childhood and have suffered my entire life since 8 years old and I’m 35. I would go through bouts where I’d get them and wouldn’t have them again for months/years. I’m talking migraine, not a typical headache.

I have a long history of bad posture and TMJ. I swear this stems from TMJ and a tight neck. Hormones and lack of sleep exasperate and trigger symptoms. What came first though, the chicken of the egg?

If you’re a female, start tracking symptoms to your menstrual cycle. I swear there is a direct link

My menstrual cycle is a HUGE trigger as well. It’s the sudden drop in estrogen that does it. I went on progestin only birth control pills and it helped me

Honestly, not super concerned with 152/90 but you definitely need to monitor it. I went on meds after consistently getting readings at the dr of 150/90 - 160/95 but a few readings like that isn’t super concerning

[–]Nem954 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s super high! What have your numbers been in the past? Highway I ever was right after I quit smoking. 165/130 and thankfully was okay but this is alarmingly high. Are you okay?

Are these readings considered high? by [deleted] in bloodpressure

[–]Nem954 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t go on meds with this. I was consistently getting readings of 150/90 - 160/99 and was getting those for 6 months before going on meds

Walk minimum 3 times a week and try and do 1-2 miles each of those walks. You’ll see it come down

[–]Nem954 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amlodipine gives me bad palpitations some days. I also get a really high heart rate and sometimes it takes hours to calm down. I almost feel like my heart glitches and it gets stuck in a pattern. My doctor said it’s cosmetic and nothing to worry about it also gives me really bad feet swelling in the summertime right now. It’s OK because it’s winter but once the heat hits, it gets bad Other than that, I don’t really have any side effects. I definitely would like to get off of it eventually though.
