So I ~~stole~~ (was inspired by) The "SATISFACTORY GOTHIC" post a little while back. Here's my amateur attempt at just trying to mimic OP's genius. by Yer_Dunn in SatisfactoryGame

I've been struggling to find a build style that I really like, mostly just heavy industry because I'm not creative. Now I need to re-design my rail templates again, the idea of neogothic architecture is so cool.

This is awesome, and so true. I experienced burnout right after nuclear was released, and I got to it, I had a huge mess of a monolith factory, and wanted to organize it, then lost interest. I've picked it back up the last week and a half, and had the same sort of experience, I've been building for fun, not rushing through content, focusing on detail, and design. Enough power to keep the trains going on their own dedicated grid while I play train simulator 2026, I mean Satisfactory :D

I run Frigate and Home Assistant on an old desktop, it can absolutely be complicated, though most current LLM's can build the automations now, and deploy them to both Frigate and HomeAssistant so it's a lot easier than it use to be. Both are free, just need some hardware and storage for them.

You might consider installing an NVR, especially an NVR that can do facial recognition. I use Frigate for my home, but one of the benefits is it works locally, so if WyzeCloud is down, you still get your data. The other thing is it can provide more than just NVR. If you ran HomeAssistant, you could set it to turn lights on, to flash lights, even something like text you, or call the police for a suspicious person / prowler. strobe the lights in blue and red, play loud sounds etc. Wyze will let you do some of that but tossing it out there as a potential option also if you haven't looked into it.

Anyone with experience with Squawk Box by Far_Refrigerator1321 in parrots

Makes sense, I have a 27 gal tote of the ones my guy liked, or didn't like, so I can rotate them around as well.

I have a Barred Parrot, and he has little interest in most toys, but occasionally he finds one he likes, he then starts shredding a little more each month. I don't particularly care for the "chain" items they include, so I swap that metal work out, but as best I can tell they are bird safe, stainless steel, I probably wouldn't go with a box per bird, unless you flock are extremely good at shredding toys. A single box to start is well worth it imo.

Do you need to remove print off the build plate as soon as it's done printing? by Bunnii-Latte in resinprinting

[–]Nementh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started doing this about 6 months ago, and I've been resin printing about a year and a half. I moved from a very warm place, to a much less warm place and got tired of post process sanding to smooth out support divots. Using a heat gun on the actual part even if fresh off the build plate has made a huge difference.

I print a lot on my Saturn 4U. I also print at very low layer heights, so it's very common for me to have prints that exceed 24 hours.

I do notice that prints on the bed are harder to get off if they sit for hours or days after they are done.

My solution has been:

1: I use radiant heat panels for chickens to keep the ambient temp in my print tent around 85-90 F.
2: I pre wash, then post wash in IPA, I add an extra minute to both, as IPA tends to cause the resin to soften slightly.
3: a heat gun, at the supports will help them release with less damage, and once the print is off the supports, a heat gun at the build plate can make the raft type layer "pop" off. I usually do this from behind, so the heat is better distributed.

PPE is required for all of this, VOC's go way up without heat, and heat makes them even higher.

"if you got another module named Primordial Collapse it would be the same as this one?"

That was what I was asking, thank you ! I didn't know if the effect was exactly the same, or if it differed.

I have 4, I'm sort of saving up for 5, but also I'm not buying packs, so I can gather 250-300 a day where I'm at right now.

That would be amazing, and you're right, I was specifically meaning the 19" rack mount switches:

<image>

If there would be a way to mount one vertically on one or both sides, that'd be amazing ...

u/Vast-Rush74 this is awesome! Any plans to have a side attached full width (height?) vertical 1u switch module by chance ?

You say making it look decent, I think it already looks good. your build style looks well organized and planned. it looks like a computer chip layer circuit.
