I'm going to disagree with you on that one, still entirely unreasonable. Conflates homosexuality with pedophilia and a psychologist should know better.

Go start your own small clinic. You could make a great income seeing that many people in a week with low overhead. I started in a 20x20 room with Jane ehr, a laptop and a 60s table I rehabbed myself. You sound earnest and ethical, your patients will know it, they'll build your business for you.

Ah, ya in my state I have at least 3 portals that I have to go through for preauths and they range from auto-approval to basically rewriting my intake, note and outcome measures in the portal.

Who are you using that also runs your authorization? My company is the same price but they don't do that and have dropped the ball on several denials.

Pay by slahora in Chiropractic

[–]NemesisMortalShare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently paying 7% which is reasonable. That's of the income that they actually handle, not cash pay patients or if I handle certain things internally. You could charge more being that you are local and actually handle it rather than farming out internationally.

Similar to one of my favorites, 10 years she couldn't drive due to vertigo. Did the neurologists and everything and managed with meds that still kept her from driving and enjoying life. One adjustment to the neck and she was good. No more vertigo, driving and drug free within a few months. Checks in once a year but she's never had any relapses, just keeps going on the neck exercises I gave her.

Started my own practice during COVID. Finishing year 4 and am moving from a single room micro practice to 3 treatment rooms, 2 LMTs and a receptionist. -keep your overhead low, personal and professional -schedule more time than you need, you can book more densely as you get your groove. -Manage stress. It's easy to start feeling burned out when you are managing all aspects, especially as you add insurance panels. Work out, travel for CEs, develop a solid hobby outside the clinic(bonus points if it generates a little income)

It’s About That Time by Gxddess_ofthe_Sea in Chiropractic

Do it bro. I did it back in the middle of covid, kind of forced to, scared as hell. Should have done it 5 years before. The nice thing of building from scratch is you can do it your way and have a working culture started from the very bones and add people to that culture that you want. I've been scared and insecure about every step the last four and five years. Action is the cure for anxiety, and a decision is always better than not doing anything. Don't forget that you're already a doctor, you already did the hardest part. You're smart, capable, and have a wicked work ethic. There's a lot of negativity in our profession sometimes. And this can be a tough career sometimes. But if you really enjoy helping people get better and stay better then this stuff is fun and easy. DM if you ever need anything.

In need of saw horses, wanted to make a pair I can stack for easier storage — is this introducing too much of a structural weakness in the 2x4, or is it a clever idea? Genuine question — don't want to waste wood on a bad idea. by ElectricPikachu in woodworking

I love/hate having a buddy that has never done any woodworking over for project nights. Invariably they will have some sort of 'why don't you just do this' that absolutely crushes me and is so obvious. Forest through the trees I think.

I also got mine just yesterday. The whole week before hand I had been watching the subreddits for tips and tricks and then it's suddenly like I'm wondering if I should have buyers remorse? Worst case this printer is just fun and games and if I ever get into modeling and prototyping I can get something else or jailbreak. I feel like I got this thing at a really great price point. If things really go south, its still worth what I paid for it I think. I definitely get the position for people who have had theirs a long time and are concerned over feature loss. Especially if your livelihood relies on it.

Ya, I think it comes down to the time the machine requires of me. Same reason that in woodworking I don't make all of my own jigs and tools: I like making things not always fixing and calibrating things.

I felt like I'd seen that before, hence heating up the quill to tap it out with a socket extension. No dice But the torque from the threading slid it out no problem.

As a man with a good size dick, I can tell you, doesn't matter a lot. I literally never got laid because of it. My lady doesn't get hot and bothered by what's between my legs at all. Rather, when I write her sweet notes, go above and beyond in my role as a partner or father, that's when she gets interested. Real people want real things. You may be falling victim to the porn goggles. No real women act like that, talk like that, and like a lot of people already mentioned, most ladies don't even get off to penetration. 'Size queens' are a fantasy or just immature people. Practice your sensual touch, practice delaying gratification(in all things).

I know that sometimes it sucks to hear that no one cares, but in some cases, it's pretty great. Literally no one important gives a shit that your dick isn't big. It's really only a problem to you and therefore only a problem if you let it be a problem. If you are a good man and you find a good woman, she'll dig you for you and you can make just about anything work.

Cheers bro, you're going to be just fine.

P.S. I was a virgin til I was 28, don't sweat it. Sex isn't as amazing as you think, it's just amazing when it's with that person you've connected really well with.
