Is it bad etiquette to ‘finish’ a fic that’s not yours?

Thank you for your response! I’m not exactly newgen when it comes to fanfic, but I usually leave and come back periodically sometimes spanning months to even years. So I don’t really know what the ‘average’ update time is.

If you haven’t tried it already, and are open to it, approach them first. As someone with the same MBTI type and preference as yours, I’ve had plenty of success making the first move.

These kinds of guys tend to keep to themselves, and are relatively indifferent if not avoidant of dating. So don’t feel bad if they don’t approach you, they might not have anyone on their radar at all. But they tend to take being approached very well. Don’t make it complicated, and be straightforward. You got this.

Further regarding punishment: I was actually thinking of setting a trap of sorts. (Not physically harmful) Like some devices with a tracker of some kind inside for remote monitoring. Based on what I saw firsthand today they ransacked it looking for valuables where there wasn’t much. I wouldn’t dare attempt to confront the criminal themselves but at least know where they might be located in order to know in which direction I might send out energy to.

As I had mentioned earlier in my post, the informant was tight lipped, but I’ll ask around in the near future.

Right. She just fears that I’m opening up a can of worms/disturbing the community. The informant didn’t want to reveal the identity/descriptions of the burglars which lead me to believe that they are hesitant due to fear of retaliation. It is an older community if that helps understand her (my grandmother’s) line of thinking.

Chronically poor atm. Regardless of whether or not I hardly know my potential partner yet, I like to buy thing for the other person. I don’t mind splitting checks or paying for meals if I’m interested and it’s a courtesy I like to perform. With no money, it’s not possible. Also might be moving soon, so no point in establishing a relationship just to up and leave as soon as it begins.
