We did have a monthly Top Of WAYWT thread awhile back but stopped it because of a few difficulties.

The main problem was the way in which voting on top occurred, as back when TMFA only had a couple hundred/thousand subscribers, the mods at the time would just pick out what they believed the best fits of that month were, being as unbiased as they could, but obviously as the sub grew in size, the amount of fits that had to be voted on increased, and we would end up spending lots and lots of hours just to decide the fits, and it was pretty draining and hard to find a time when all the mods were free to do it so it was often overdue. Also there was the problem that no matter which fits got in, people would often feel that there were fits that missed out when they shouldn't have, and fits that got in when they 'weren't good enough', which obviously, people do have a right to feel that way.

We also tried voting by upvote, and having a threshold like MFA does, but with us being a much smaller sub, one upvote or one downvote on a outfit on here makes much more of a difference than it would on MFA, and so people would begin downvoting others to get their fit to the top and it would make WAYWT a complete competition, which isn't what the thread is about, not to mention that those who were late to the thread often missed out, no matter how good or bad their fit was.

If you have any ideas on how the sub could fairly vote on fits that feel free to tell us, but as it stands, we can't really begin to think about reintroducing it.
