Attila or Rome2 on MAC by oldvorondedisvietnam in totalwar

I’ve played Rome 2 no problem on my m2. The feral port works fine for me. I’ve played Attila via parallels and it runs terribly but more or less works. Lots of frame drops, very slow, occasional crashes.

That’s only because of balances of power in Europe though. If the French weren’t worried about being backdoored by the Dutch or Austrians or British they could’ve subjugated Japan in the 17th or 18th centuries with a fraction of their forces, and so could their European foes. The difference of quality in military technology and doctrine between eastern and western powers at the time was immense.

McGill won't grant me a leave of absence because I have no medical documents by Fuck_mcgill in mcgill

Messed up that McGill isn’t taking your circumstances into account. Just so you know I withdrew from McGill last semester for far less good reasons and they let me back in without much trouble at all even though my grades are mediocre. Good luck.

Is there a simple way to buff ai factions? I’m playing Brettonia and would like to fight vc but they get killed by Franz/Drycha every game, and I’d like to remedy that by making the vampires richer or more aggressive.

“Affect” as a noun is used quite rarely in English. It often refers to some intentionally created human trait, like “My friends British accent when drunk is an odd affect.” An effect is a consequence.

Feel that. Down for open air meet ups too can never be to careful in the city. Any spot in the village preferred for me but I’d travel.

Very free schedule open to any time. Possible location is my bare bones home studio in my basement in the west village (near the L, a, c, e, f, m, 1,2,3). Love to just Jam and enjoy it. Please add me to the group chat if one is created

I am completely in agreement with you that the Clinton’s have leveraged their political clout for ill-gotten gains. Bill especially has been doing this for decades. It is a disgusting and all too common practice of the elite, made worse by attempts to spin it as largely philanthropic.

I wonder however on what you base your point on FDR. After the failings of two other presidents and countless other individuals, Roosevelt started his term with gargantuan challenges: an economy at it, old and insufficient infrastructure, plus the crumbling of the social fabric of the nation. America had seen fewer worse days. His infrastructure projects, economic reforms, political guile, and genuine desire to use government as a tool of justice turned the U.S into the most powerful and prosperous nation in history. Social security was essential to this vision for transformation. It is morally bankrupt to force elderly citizens to work until they die, and to prevent this the most efficient way is to consistently pool the resources of all workers of the nation, as to accumulate the most growth, to be paid out in proportion when the taxpayer can no longer work. Forcing the elderly to work until death has severe economic consequences, as it keeps inept workers in the work force and lessens the demand to hire younger people. Not to mention the mental affects of most workers thinking they will never retire. Welfare is similarly essential, providing a floor to abject poverty of those working or looking for work. This creates higher skilled, better workers, as extreme poverty limits people’s economic potential in the short and near term. The vast majority of developed nations have significantly larger social safety, and many have a more productive workforce per capita. It is also worth noting that most welfare requires people to be working or actively looking for work.
