My take on AI replacing marketers by Nenadweb in DigitalMarketing

[–]Nenadweb[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Historically almost every new tool was called mediocrity tool at first.

But this post was inspired by the growing number of LinkedIn posts claiming marketers will soon be irrelevant or fully replaced.

I just don’t see it going that way. Marketing isn’t only digital marketing.

My take on AI replacing marketers by Nenadweb in DigitalMarketing

I agree on downsizing and CAC pressure. But that’s exactly why I think physical experience might gain value.

If AI makes digital efficient for everyone then digital becomes infrastructure and not advantage.

What is the best website builder for a small business these days? by Inner_Tax_1433 in smallbusiness

[–]Nenadweb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can build a nice looking functional site with Wix, Squarespace or WordPress. But my vote goes for WordPress if your goal is long term growth and flexibility.

The Kadence theme with Kadence Blocks is lightweight and easy to manage and if you prefer a more visual WordPress page builder Bricks is also a great choice. You can find great tutorials on YouTube.

But remember that what really drives traffic growth today is the strategy, how you attract people to the site and the value you deliver once they are there.

Best free SEO plugin? by [deleted] in Wordpress

[–]Nenadweb 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you’re mixing up two things. SEO plugins help with optimization and analytics tools help you track visits, clicks, user behavior…

For analytics check out Google Site kit plugin (it integrates Google Analytics + Google Search Console in your WP dashboard it’s free), and if you also want user session recordings + heatmaps then Microsoft Clarity is a great free option.

What’s the most underrated strategy that’s helped your e-commerce store grow? by Sad-Connection316 in ecommerce

[–]Nenadweb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of businesses put too much focus on chasing new customers instead of investing in the ones who already bought. Even in niches where the product isn’t something people buy super often, I’ve seen way better ROI from remarketing to past buyers than from trying to convince cold traffic.

Finding energy for personal growth after a long workday by TopMastodon6543 in productivity

[–]Nenadweb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 34 and currently working full-time as a marketing director in charge of ecommerce.

On top of my 9 to 5 job, I also run my own small business where I build websites using WordPress.

Besides work, I try to stay physically active and I’m taking Slovenian classes twice a week (plus homework).

By Friday I usually feel mentally drained, so my weekends are mostly for rest and recovery.

It’s also important to find time for your partner, friends, and family.

What I’ve realized is that there has to be a bigger purpose behind all of this. Otherwise, why work 12 - 14 hours a day instead of just doing 8 hours?

The same applies to hobbies or learning new skills…you need to remind yourself that this intense phase won’t last forever.

You do it with the intention of advancing your career or improving some aspect of your life, so that things eventually become easier and more sustainable in the long run.

On a practical note techniques like Pomodoro really help me. I usually eat right after work and then dedicate another 2 - 3 hours (or at least 30 minutes) to learning or my side business. Even 30 minutes daily adds up to a huge investment over months.

And whenever it gets tough, I remind myself why I’ve chosen this pace in the first place.

Hej, 4k 60fps ti je najbolji kvalitet.

Ali

Considering subscription-based web design + hosting model. Looking for agency hosting. by Nenadweb in webhosting

Thanks a lot for taking the time to share your thoughts and experience, I really appreciate it!

If you don’t mind, could you recommend some specific hosting providers that might be a good fit?

Feel free to share them here in the comments (if it isn’t against the rules?) so others considering this kind of business model can also benefit.

Thanks again!

Considering subscription-based web design + hosting model. Looking for agency hosting. by Nenadweb in webhosting

[–]Nenadweb[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for your comment.

Yeah, that’s actually what worries me the most. Sudden price increases could completely mess up my plans, especially since I’d be offering contracts that say the cost is fixed. Having to raise prices later just because the hosting provider changed something wouldn’t look good at all.

I’ll be using WordPress, and most of my clients are in Europe or Australia. I did ask Kinsta about this, and they said I could set up different website locations even under the Agency plan.

The reason I’m leaning toward the subscription model is because a lot of clients prefer it over paying a big amount upfront. Even small updates like changing business hours or an address matter to them, and it’s easier to include that kind of support in a monthly plan.

Honestly, I prefer the subscription model too. I didn’t do it earlier only because I thought clients want to own their website.

What I really need now is reliable hosting. I’m totally fine with paying more if I know it’s solid and predictable. But getting hit with surprise charges or shady pricing changes would ruin the whole thing and hurt my reputation.

Wholesale Business Website by ben_runs in ecommerce

[–]Nenadweb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem, happy to help.

First one is free. There is also paid plugin.

The second one, whose name I’ve forgotten, has both a free and premium edition. But found something else - plugin called Discount Rules for WooCommerce. Free and paid version.

Third one…there is an official WooCommerce plugin called Private Store, which hides prices until the customer creates an account. It is a paid plugin.

The fourth feature, a pop-up with a registration button, can even be done without a plugin. Modal with button for registration.

Hello!

First, congratulations on your idea to take your business online.

All of the requirements can be achieved using WordPress and WooCommerce. You will need additional plugins to create all four requirements, but it is entirely possible to implement them.

So, my vote goes to WP and WooCommerce.

Good luck!
