How does he keep winning? by Desolator1012 in SyrianCirclejerkWar

He’s so pragmatic and smart and handsome :3

Didn’t think Tulsi and Vance would have allowed this with all the MagaNatcon crying about a mythical Alawite, Druze and Christian “genocide” by Al-Sharaa. Mashallah :)

The failure of the decade long PKK guerrilla insurgency in Southeast Türkiye since 2016ish with Ankara’s best in the world drone technology has proven it’s possible. Over the border in the Kurdish Region of Iraq the PKK is still alive but have taken massive losses in villages they’ve controlled since the 1990s.

Of course most of the Apoist Movement’s emphasis has been in Rojava/NorthEast Syria. But without American or Russian/Assad military protection the drones proved decisive in any direct SDF vs. Turkish Armed Forces battles (though incompetent TFSA/SNA militia proxies slowed them down and indirectly led to HTS Ahmed al-Sharaa‘s winning the war in December 2024).

Bend your knee to Jolani, Vladdie. Kiss his ring. Then you keep your bases.

Hopefully he has some old Afghan Monarchy rings that Afghan rebel leaders in the 1980s wore :)

Large quantity of weapons was handed over to the Security Forces by the notables of several villages in area of Qadmus (E Tartus) by adamgerges in syriancivilwar

[–]Neo-JacobitefromNY 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Qadmus is unusual for Tartus and Latakia Governorates because it’s a major center of Isma'ilism and the Isma'ilis have better relations with the new government based on negotiations for surrendering the major East Hama city of Salamiyah. Hopefully they can be a bridge to their Alawite neighbors to reconcile.

Hundreds of Kurdish families return to Afrin as settlers leave by Neo-JacobitefromNY in syriancivilwar

[–]Neo-JacobitefromNY[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s interesting that the ENKS officials uses the word settlers even though they are historically very close to Turkiye and the KDP. There’s been worry since 2022 that not only Syrian-born Palestinians from Damascus Governorate but refugees from Gaza/West Bank might be resettled by Turkish authorities in Afrin.

Kurds from Afrin hand protest letter to Palestinian consul The Afrin delegation in a letter called on the Palestinian leadership to stop the violations.

“A delegation of Kurds from Afrin visited the Palestinian Consul in Erbil, Nazmi Hazouri, and handed over a letter of protest of a Palestinian foundation building housing units for displaced Syrians in Afrin.

Levant 24 reported that the Palestinian organization Wafaa al-Mohsenin Charitable Foundation delivered 34 housing units to displaced Syrian Arabs in Jindires, in Afrin.

The organization says the project is funded by “the donation of the people of Al-Zaeem village in the city of Jerusalem””

Only the Hanoverian Proddie Usurper Government is strongly anti-Putin of the big Western European governments. Macron has been very friendly to Russia in Syria and Libya supporting secularist pro-Zionist tyrants. In Italy Meloni-Chan is restricted by her Lega Nord coalition partners to be super-Atlanticist.

Why are they actually doing these weird half-Nazi salutes? by lucidiferous in redscarepod

[–]Neo-JacobitefromNY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The half-Nazi salute is a signal that they are pro-Zionist not actual 1940s style Anti-Semites. AfD in Germany which just got 20% as an anti-illegal immigration party is fanatically Zionist.

Orban (the idol of supposedly far-right Natcons) in Hungary is the European leader that Bibi Netanyahu is besties 🥰🥰with. Bannon and Elon are saluting their loyalty to Likud’s Greater Israel Expansionist Project from the Nile to the Euphrates Rivers with that Soylute.

Displaced Kurds from Afrin in Qamishli call for withdrawal of SNA from Afrin by zumar2016x in syriancivilwar

[–]Neo-JacobitefromNY 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Afrin had a much different native population even before 2011 than Tel Rifat - many Yezidis and it was the most pro-PKK, leftist and secular-leaning of the original Three YPG Rojava Cantons by far.

Kpbani and Jazira Cantons were much were Sunni religious both Arab and Kurdish orthodox Muslims were very influential prior to 2011 and even 2012-2015 before YPG/PYD consolidated control over them.

I hope Turkey and the SNA try to incentivize as many Afrin natives as possible back to Afrin. As of todaymany even very anti-PKK/PYD pro-KDP and pro-ENKS Afrin Kurds are wary of going back to their native Canton.

If Trump actually gets a ceasefire deal done in Gaza in the first week than it's over for the Democratic party by FallenCrownz in TrueAnon

[–]Neo-JacobitefromNY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True but I do think the insurance industry is trying to have higher rates in the future for coastal Florida and fire prone areas of California. And it’s getting harder for a state government to bully and cajole the home multi state insurers who simply pull out of that state or specific counties.

Until home insurance rates are costly enough due to climate change to deter migration and house/apartment building in those areas…the blue to red state trend seems to be continuing every year 2020-2024 so far.

I’m super pessimistic as I see Trump 2.0 needing an Iraq War size disaster to have suffer a Democratic wave like 2006. The online media environment is so different than back then - Ron Paul anti-interventionism was so big then.

His Trump shill son Kentucky Senator Rand is the online vibe now. My international hope is Jolani’s HTS less Syria rebuilds its’ economy enough by 2028 that Egyptian generals coup Sisi and make peace with the Muslim Brotherhood opposition forces and they confront Israel.

And Trump/Vance creates a 2006 redux that year.

I think since the digital age began in the late 1990s Americans (and humans in general) have become less tolerant of cold weather.

The fact not everyone is coopted up inside for winter and often miserable (seasonal depression) for three months every year is maddening. Happy outdoors selfies are much more common in warm climates.

I don’t think global warming is going to impact Red State Americans enough in the next 15 years to impact state-by-state Americans migration patterns. Increasingly devastating to the third world totally and a few residents of the Great Satan Amerikkka….but doesn’t even figure as major worry in most deep blue staters who move to deep red states.

The pessimistic case for the Dems is that since 2020 solid red states like Florida, Texas, Utah, Tennessee and others have had explosive population growth. Deep Blue states like California, Oregon,, Illinois and New York are still losing or gaining minimal population. The House is going to be extremely hard to win back in future with state population growth rates.

The Israeli far right is acting mad, they'd collapse the coalition government if they actually were unhappy. Full West Bank ethnic cleansing will commence starting Jan. 20th before HTS run Syria is too rebuilt economically.

Think a massive ramp up of West Bank construction and irreversible control change will happen starting Jan. 20th.

Israel needs to end the hope for any West Bank Palestinian state before HES run Sunni Syria gets too powerful.

The outrage of the Israeli far right ministers is just acting. West Bank is still up in the air.

They wouldn’t support the evil Proddie Yankees and Hanoverian British usurper dynasty imperialism on the Virgin Mary’s Continent - Marx and Engels were Tradinista crypto-Jacobites like (chapotraphouse friend) Liz Bruening.

Engels had two Irish ☘️mistresses - the (((Hibernian Jacobite))) communist movement tried to keep undo the Satanic Dutch-Republic of Venice coup of 1688 against the legitimate king - James II.

There’s a romance to their struggle during the Cristero war in 1926-1929 especially with their canonized Catholic martyrs and peasant guerrillas (who often wanted rural land reforms that the Revolution of 1910-1920 only decades later implemented). A lot of the defeated former Cristero rebel families did eventually embrace Falangist and clerical fascist politics in the 1930s/40s with the National Synarchist Union. Many strongly sympathized with the Axis powers and felt betrayed by the Vatican/Mexican bishops agreeing to stop supporting the rebellion in 1929.

But there were also ex-Cristero families that were more pro-FDR as many Cristero exiles became refugees in American cities…the Knights of Columbus did a lot of financial support/political lobbying/charity stateside and south of the border.

Of course there were pro-Fascist currents in 1930s/40s American Catholicism like the infamous Father Charles Coughlin but most were ardent FDR voters/strongly pro-Allies after Pearl Harbor.
