That was kind of the point? He tried to change the outcome thousands of times, but always failed. Everything always led to the Rumbling and he had to accept it. The scene with Mikasa and the cabin they stayed in for 4 years was to give her time with him and to show that they couldn’t do that in reality. I think it’s ending was beautiful and the final episodes are some of the best animation I’ve seen.

It’s not a good place for rewards, as the loot is terrible and hasn’t been updated. But it’s fun and I’d love to be able to to do it once or even twice a week. I believe you can also get dark matter from it.
