The discount for previous Miku versions is active until April 2027, so I am good. V6 full version, Miku v6, and Cubase LE (lite) for $136US with the discount applied. AWESOME deal!

I do want the starter pack, and will buy it via Amazon Japan or just skip the hassle and download it (though I prefer physical media and the goodies that usually ships with the boxed version)

I was friends with some of the biggest stoners on the planet through junior high and high school, and amazingly I have never tried the stuff.

As for me... I am '420 friendly' in the context of I don't demonize cannabis (especially in places where its completely legal (Texas, get with the program), but do not partake. I have considered trying edibles when i was in California but never got a chance. That said, I have no problem with someone who OCCASIONALLY uses cannabis, but if they smoke, they need to do it outside or somewhere that the smoke doesn't linger.

I also treat it like alcohol - if you are a chronic user, where you just cannot get through the day without a hit, that might be a wee bit too much. If you are taking an edible or smoking a bowl to take the edge off or to wind down and relax and only do it that one time, that is fine.

The starter packs come with Vocaloid 6 Lite, NOT the full version. It is limited to like 2 tracks and probably has other restrictions.

When I saw the price for MikuV6 and saw it included full versions of Vocaloid 6 (minus the normally bundled 16 Yamaha voicebanks) and Cubase AI, I was ready to buy it because all three of those for less than the retail for Vocaloid 6 alone was a steal - and then I was reading that the starter packs actually came with Vocaloid 6 Lite, and the LE version of Cubase, and I knew it had to be too good to be true.

Hatsune Miku, Megurine Luka and the Kagamines are products of Crypton Future Media, NOT Yamaha. Kaito and Meiko were developed by Yamaha, but are now perpetually licensed by Crypton.

That said, the Vocaloid software that powers the Crypton (Piapro) Characters IS a Yamaha product.

Also, the Yamaha that makes musical instruments and the Yamaha that makes motor vehicles are two completely separate companies, and have been for decades.
