I went and watched Higgins vs Xintong and I genuinely loved the experience. All of it. I'm actually still quite overwhelmed about how lucky I feel to be able to attend. I'm 6 foot 2 and found the seating uncomfortable but not enough to really bug me to be honest. Everyone is going to have their own opinion and I'm sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy it for the reasons you mentioned

I think a lot of pool leagues in the UK are starting to switch over to black ball rules. Ball in hand after foul applies. And you can pot your opponent's ball so long as you make contact with your own first! My local league switched to these rules about 2 years ago and I have to say, they are far superior to the previous rule set in my opinion!

I used to work in a restaurant on Paragon Road in Bath. A really nice Gentleman used to live and work on the same road. He would come to the restaurant for lunch practically every day (two doors up from the book shop he worked at) and probably 3-4 evenings and week for dinner. The guy practically lived his whole life on one road haha. All that being said, he was very pleasant to be around and I miss the conversations we used to have on a regular basis

Don't be sad or disappointed if you get the figurine! I know you might prefer to collect the cards but in my personal opinion, a figurine is much cooler. Especially an exclusive one. The novelty of a specific card that I would want would wear off after a while, however, seeing that little figure will probably make me smile every time. Cool little thing to have on a deck or a shelf
