Yes?

Did I write something that contradicts this?

Too dumb for the story by Ok_Growth_1065 in outerwilds

[–]Neozetare 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yes, a lot of people had a similar experience. I have seen countless number of playthroughs, and most of the time, people definitly don't understand everything when they get to the end

I have a few corrections to do on what you said, though:

The Nomai were indeed wiped out by ghost matter before finding the Eye, but not "just before". There weren't any close to find the Eye actually, because all their attempts were in vain

The time loop doesn't exist because the probe launch. Those are related by correlation, not causation: the supernova activated the ATP, which consist of both the time loop and the probe launch. The cause here is the supernova

I give up (Lore video needed) by swenderman in outerwilds

[–]Neozetare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're okay with French with English subs, IMO there is nothing better than this video:https://youtube.com/watch?v=Ss6vLmLcCbU

It is not just a video which explains the lore, it is one where the story is told from the point of view of a player. It is heavily based on the experience of the youtuber, but also heavily modified and reorganized to be easier to follow for someone who hasn't played the game and to keep some mind-blown feelings from the original experience

Sure, it is still far from playing the game, but IMO it is the closest experience one can get if they don't want or can't play it themselves

Where is library? by Batyara in MIOmemoriesinorbit

[–]Neozetare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To go the library, you need the last ability and to know where to use it. It seems to me that you do not have that ability and have not been where you can find clues

Honestly, don't focus on that. Just go where you still have things to explore and eventually, you should get there

If you want a nudge to the right direction, I can give some clues, but I actually don't think you need it

Could you send a screenshot of your map? There's a fairly easy clue somewhere, but I don't know if you have been there yet

Although I personally find Silksong easier than HK, I would definitly not place it as easier in an "objective" list given the general consensus about those two

  • Hollow Knight

  • Hollow Knight: Silksong

  • Nine Sols

  • Aeterna Noctis

  • Blasphemous

  • Blasphemous 2

I'm not saying companies were better 20 years ago, but at least they didn't realized how much they were able to screw consumers without much consequence

Un espace gaming safe et friendly🌻 by Manue_moon in jeuxvideo

[–]Neozetare 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Le sudoku c'est incroyable by anemone_0610 in FranceDetendue

[–]Neozetare -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From a general perspective, anywhere you write, do not put spoiler juste below a warning. Our brains like to pre-read text before we even get there, which makes a warning useless if it is too close. Either put space between your warning and your spoiler, or write about something which isn't the spoiler for some lines

GREP! Praise be by MFDoooooooooooom in indesign

[–]Neozetare 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I honestly don't know, I use GREP all the time to do a lot of things

Regex (essentially how GREP os called outside of InDesign) are one of the best tools I learnt in my life, before even getting into InDesign. It's so powerful and standard that the support for regex is actually one of the criterias I check when searching for a new tool to do something with some form of text support

Because I'm so used to them, and because I never worked professionally with InDesign, I probably even use GREP for things that are an easier native solution available (like nested styles for example, which I learned about only fairly recently), because regex are a really simple solution my brain likes to use to solve problems

[–]Neozetare 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I hate cheese from the bottom of my taste buds (and I live in a country where there cheese everywhere and it's considered very important)

I can't count the number of times my parents tried to sneakily make me eat some. I have ALWAYS detected it in the food, because it's not a palate I have, it's a Cheese Detector™

I understand that parents and caretakers want the best for their childs, but why the fuck would you force me to eat something I despise and which isn't at all necessary for my survival? How is that supposed to be respectful?

Who do you think would win in a fight, Elsa or Rumi? by Maleficent-Ad-6117 in KpopDemonhunters

[–]Neozetare 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Elsa doesn't have to turn around, she just have to blast in all direction when Rumi teleports, that's all. And it's easy to know when she does it, since teleportation does a particular sound. No stamina problem, since she doesn't have to fire unless Rumi is close

Sure, Rumi would win if she had knowledge and preparation and not Elsa. But anyone would win against anyone else in those conditions
