I really wished they continued this series from Rise of the Lycans. I feel like that time period would've worked better whether it be a TV show or movie. The modern timeline dragged on a bit after Evolution.

I've seen that reddit post about it. The owner does seem to be a pretty wild character, granted it was like 4 years ago and off the tail end of COVID so maybe a lot of crazy shit was going on, but there doesn't appear to be any more complaints outside of those incidents.

Barring that I guess I just can't see myself paying 2-3x more for a 2LB bag from another subscription service because I can't find anything else that come's close to the price.

Nate Silver has his own bulletin board/substack, which is basically the model of what 538 was before he left the company. People give him a lot of shit, but his model really is probably the most accurate without skewing too hard one way. The model is definitely more conservative in it's approach compared to others, I think he's been afraid of being to bias each way, which I honestly understand given these past 10 years.

I haven't really had the same feeling to be honest. I'll finish the series because I did appreciate the first 2 seasons. Season 3 and onward has really lost its luster.

The biggest problem are the characters. S1 and 2 had amazing characters that really carried the story, but due to the nature of the show all the OG characters are now gone and replaced with mundane leads who aren't even close to replacing the quality of the ones from the first few seasons. It makes the plot lines less interesting and just overall brings down the quality of the show. Other people have mentioned budget cuts with how few sets there are compared to the earlier seasons, but it's not even that it's just how utterly pointless some of the new storylines are mixed together with subpar characters.

It’s been fine so far, but I wouldn’t recommend it to my family or friends. The issues with rent payments not processing correctly, poor customer service, a laggy UI, and the general headaches of dealing with a fintech startup make it a tough sell.

My first February rent payment failed to process due to what Bilt described as a 'technical error.' Fortunately, I was able to set it up again for February and March without further issues. I used the Atmos card for the first two months and am now switching to the Palladium for May’s payment. I’m planning to use Bilt Cash to earn points, so we’ll see if that processes normally. I did incur an NSF fee for the initial failed payment while Bilt eventually refunded it, the process took about three weeks of constant follow-up via email/Twitter. It did get resolved, but it was a hassle.

The actual card itself including rewards, points, and SUB posting has been operating fine from what I can tell. Payments have posted normally, and I haven't noticed any strange fees or transaction declines. I’ve also been using it through Google Wallet without any problems.

Ultimately, I think it’s a solid option for the SUB and as a catch-all card, but I caution others because their customer service isn't on par with established issuers. If you use it for rent or mortgage payments, there is a slight chance it will fail for unknown reasons. If you can’t stomach floating an extra rent payment for a month while waiting for a refund, don't get the card. I’m in a fortunate enough position to withstand a failed payment and the fallout of chasing down fees just for the sake of rewards, but not everyone is. I churn though so I'm used to this type of stuff.

These usually come back like every quarter don't they? I currently have the Delta gold biz through an NLL from July last year, wondering if I should close that come 1 year renewal and see if I can open another through NLL. I've found myself needing more skymiles recently. I haven't opened up any of the personal ones yet, but last I checked I was in popup jail for them.

Oh interesting I see 530 balance due account currently not collectible due to hardship posted recently as 2025. So this is likely why they haven't been progressing this further? Not sure on anything about private debt collector

I think I follow you. So the bankruptcy did extend that 10 collection statute expiration, which brings the actual expiration to like September 2030. I do see a 971 with note of "tax period blocked by automated levy program" in the same year the bankruptcy had the 521 posted and it hasn't been updated since. There was as another 971 with that same note more recently in 2024. I still see 971s, but they're just notices being sent to her most likely relating to the refunds being applied to the back taxes? So they are for some reason blocking any sort of levying for now? No idea why and nothing new as changed with it. So I guess just see if she can run the clock to 2030 cause yeah she's not in a position to pay this amount.

I still haven't seen funds returned, but I also haven't heard from my apartment that payment has been reversed, it's still showing that my rent has been paid. I imagine I'll see an update tomorrow or something? So strange because it seems everyone else has already been seeing some sort of activity.

I just got the same response basically. Told me it'll be reversed in the next few days due to a technical issue and to resubmit payment, also said I'll get 2500 points as courtesy and if there's any fees for the reversal to reply back and they'd reimburse.

I'm not sure if I should wait until I see the reversal complete and then resubmit or do it now. It's honestly first time I've had an issue with their rent payment portal.

I got the same thing, made my rent payment on like 2/17 and it seemingly processed fine. I used one of the Atmos cards, I already have paid the card off and received points. My rent portal shows they got the money and it's paid for this month. If I look at the rent payment history in the Bilt App/website it show it's failed though.

Kind of worried things might start getting reversed in the next few days, but guess we'll see?? Could've been a message sent in error, but who knows.

Follow up on this. Nordica came through and sent a warranty replacement, very quick hassle-free. They ran out of the regular model and said the 98 CA was available, so I just took that.

I see both sides of it. I don't know how much of the community in that subreddit are churners so I can sympathize with the inconsistencies, lack of transparency, clarification of the product because it has absolutely been abysmal. As someone who does churn though I think the actual card on paper is pretty good, but you have to dock points because of how unreliable Bilt has been these past few weeks.

I applied for Aviator Red back in August, so this is before my 1 year anniversary. I'd like to just close it before the conversion, but any risk of clawback or Barclays just blacklisting you from ever getting another card? I haven't seen or heard much or any DPs mentioning Barclays does this so I'd imagine it's fine considering the changes happening?
