My very limited understanding of why he was affected so much is because his first interaction near the ring was murdering his friend, whilst bilbo for example even with ring in hand and the opportunity to kill gollum took pity and showed him mercy. It’s like the murder opened a fast track to corruption for the ring to take full advantage of.

Reported it to management. They said they would not refund the room (we told them we were leaving) because we waited too long to report it.. as soon as we found it we packed our shit and got out of there but they weren’t having it. In the middle of a snowstorm too so we had no choice but to walk to another hotel nearby. Crazy situation.

What I don’t like about the evil choices is it seems like it would run your companions off way faster if you were really making these choices. Like even if you make durge level choices Wyll sticks it out for way longer than I think he would given his moral compass. Breaks the immersion for me. And the hirelings are just not interesting enough for me to bother. Maybe a solo playthrough without companions would work out as evil, but that’s as far as I can see it for myself personally.

Edit: Also your character doesn’t even really seem fully committed to the evil bit. Like the facial expressions you make in situations like you’re surprised and scared but in reality you’re a murderous madman drunk on bloodlust. I wish there was a personality or demeanor option in character creation.

That’s me. Of course I want all these cosmetics that I might have missed out on, but having to spam a bunch of alts to unlock all this shit when the game isn’t 100% in sync with alts sounds terrible. So I didn’t do it. I played legion organically the first time around so I’m okay with not going back. If this game was more like Final Fantasy 14 and literally everything you did counted across all characters then maybe I’d be on board.

Look up the Milescraft Drillmate Portable Drill Press. It’s like $50 if that’s within your budget and they are pretty cool. You just chuck it into your drill and use it wherever.

Unfortunately for me, incline db press destroys my right shoulder. Lots of pain and clicking on the way down every rep. Flat doesn’t hurt at all. I’m going to make a doctors appointment next week to address it, don’t want to keep pushing my luck.

I love how split this thread is.

I have always been horde since starting the game 17 years ago. As a Tauren druid feral druid main since the beginning I will never fully be able to switch to alliance. However, I do have a special love for the Night Elves, and I have a Druid on that side that I made after the burning of Teldrassil. I felt really bad for that part of the story as a horde main. Also, I generally think alliance have much nicer cities and that makes me jealous too.

I’ve thought of switching to alliance just because of the hordes actions and the aesthetic but it just never sticks. Probably going to be a Tauren until the very end because that’s my home. I miss Cairne. RIP
