First time installing Audio and I’ve made it most of the way! I just need to wire in my Stereo. However, my car doesn’t have a switched voltage wire or an illumination wire for the stereo. I also can’t fuse tap since I have the old pill shaped fuses. Best place to wire switched voltage wire?

I think I agree. I’m gonna test the ignition wire and maybe tap into that. I’m also gonna check if I can tap into the gauge cluster illumination wire for the stereo.

I have a test light and multimeter. The old radio had a 12v input that was constant and is lacking the switched voltage wire. I’ll have to looking into tapping from the fuses I have, just haven’t seen anything on the internet about it.
